but I have another MYW Dining question. My child and I can easily share a meal, especially when you get an appetizer AND dessert. Is sharing allowed? Part of me thinks not (they would probably charge a plate sharing fee?). I know about it probably not being ethical to use his meals for adult useage but do you think this would work? I looked and didn't see this question anywhere so if it was asked before, just lead me to it. Thanks

There is never any problem with meal sharing at any non-buffet. However, if your child is nine or less (with the lower daily price), a meal charged against MYW must be ordered from the children's menu.

Yes, you can share, and no one will think you are trying to "cheat the system". And, the way the Dining plan credits are pooled, there is no breakdown between "adult" and "child" credits. So, if you wanted, you could use each and every Table service credit to order an adult meal and share it with your child. Counter service meals don'h have any restrictions on them- you can order adult meals for both you and your child.

Hope you have a great vacation, and remember, the only dumb questions are those you don't ask! :sunny:

P.S.- editing to add that the above applies to non-buffet restaurants. If you go to a buffet or family-style, pre plated restaurant, you will need to each use a table service credit. :flower:
