... (you fill it in).

I know I have seen a thread like this but can't find it. So I thought I would start a new one. One time I got the idea to get some pop clothes hampers to put dirty clothes. Who else has any wonderful ideas that they take with them?

Things that help your stay in the resort?
Things that help you in the parks?

Never too early to start making that list! I'm only 6 months out by golly.

Extra shoe laces. Also folding rain ponchos. You can find them at any dollar store.

Underwear.....BTDT....It was hard to find onsite!

Extra batteries and camera/phone chargers.

If you bring a lot of electronics, and a lot of chargers, it also helps to bring a surge protected power strip. Sometimes there's only one plug available in the whole room, and I've had three or four things to plug in at the same time, between charging the cell phone, charging the camera battery, the laptop (when I bring it), the Palm (when I don't bring the laptop), etc. I never have too many electric outlets.

:surfweb: We bring garbage bags instead of pop up laundry baskets, they are lighter, :woohoo: the dirty cloths go in them, then they go in the luggage tied up nice to keep wet, dirty stuff off of the clean stuff, then right to the laundry room at home, makes unpacking very simple:rolleyes1

Don't forget to pack the stain remover so you can pretreat the dirty clothes before going home ... especially if you have kids.:thumbsup2

I always bring the 3m adhesive hooks, You know the ones that stick really well and then peel off easily? I use them for towels, jackets, bags, just about everything! They are inexpensive and reusable!
I also always have a box of zip lock bags with me, for left overs and????

Thanks for the tip! I leave tomorrow and just slipped one into my suitcase!

An extra pair of sunglasses so that when yours fly off, or get broken you're not blinded. (Can you tell this is the voice of experience?) :lmao:

A small backpack for wearing in the park - mine is mint green. I like it because it leaves my hands free for the camera or a drink or my map. It is big enough for my plannng cards, water bottle, sun block, poncho, comb and lipstick, moleskin, etc, but I don't have to carry it like a purse or bag. Mine has a zippered compartment on the strap to hold credit cards, drivers license and park tickets safely in a plastic snack bag to prevent them from getting wet on Splash Mountain!

Piglets Mommy...

I just have to ask. Is this the result of a late night packing? Or just a complete oversight?

Immodium. My body sometimes does not like all of the different foods that it gets on vacation.:rolleyes1

Mini first aid kit, including:

Bandaids, regular and blister
antibacterial wipes
aspirin or non-aspirin pain reliever
blister prevention (moleskin, BodyGlide)
anti-itch cream
cold/allergy meds
sunscreen wipes
insect repellent wipes
very small bottle of hand sanitizer

I have a very small, hard case that I got in the trial/travel aisle, and everything fits into it. I slip it in my backpack so we will be prepared "just in case" at the parks.

Smaller bills for tipping (who carries cash anymore? I had to actually THINK to go to the bank and get small bills), at least 2 pair of comfy shoes in case yours get soaked - that way you aren't walking around in soggy shoes all week, ponchos or an umbrella (we are bringing both - I found the collapsible Micro Pocket Umbrella by totes which is less than 6 in long, 6 ounces but opens to full size), and we are bringing a Misty Mate since we leave next week and it'll be HOT and HUMID. Have fun planning and packing!

I always bring:

Moleskin for blisters
Scissors to cut the moleskin :)
Disinfecting wipes (for the clicker, phone, toilet seat at hotel haha)
Dawn dish wipes for my refillable mug
baggies
GUM because they don't sell it on disney property
Nightlight to find my way to the bathroom in the dark
2 thin colorful beach towels to find our chairs at the water park

Im sure there's more but that's what popped into my head so far

Subscribing to this! Very cool thread, I think I'm a pretty good packer but some of these things are very smart, I would't have thought about!
