Don't forget to pack ------------?

I looked for these at Target over the weekend and I couldn't find ANY sunscreen at all, let alone sunscreen wipes. Any ideas where they sell these? :confused3
Thanks!

Here in north Jersey you would not be finding them in the average store this time of year. I first purchased them from a small camping supply store. I don't know if you have the time, but I bought them online (they are great for squirmy infants as well as my Irish-complexioned DH!). Amazon carries them, and their delivery time is usually pretty good (incl from their independent merchants).

Have you tried asking at the hotel? I have stayed in hotels (and been on cruise lines) that have sunscreen packets available for the asking.

Swiss army knife (in your checked baggage of course).

We had trouble finding infant decongestent while we were there. We stayed at the BWV and they didn't have it at The Screen Door, or the Sundries shop on the lobby level. They had multi-symptom PediaCare, but not just the decongestent. I did find some at the sundries shop at Saratoga Springs.

Over the door shoe hanger for the bathroom items. Keeps them so much easier than having a mess on the counter.

ZIPLOCK BAGS! I always keep one (gallon size, freezer type for extra durability) in my purse, backpack, carryon, etc. DS (age 9) gets motion sick so these have been invaluable for the plane, transportation & after some rides. There's nothing worse than being on a standing-room-only Disney bus at 9pm after a day at the park & having him turn green & say "Mom I don't feel good!" It's nice to have the good old Ziplock bag in case of emergency! Wipes are also handy to have packed as well. The Ziplock bags are also great for protecting cameras & things on water rides, taking home leftover food, and for storing little things in general. They're also nice to use to pack wet bathing suits in for the ride home.

Brita water bottle filters! My best friend says the water is very STINKY, so I got these yesterday. Also, I know someone said babywipes, but make sure to get Huggies natural unscented. They will bring any stain(even ballpoint ink) out of clothes and are great for removing face paint and magic markers off of little ones. OR, ladies, you can get Pampers sensitive wipes and they are the best mascara removers I've found (can leave the makeup remover at home!). :) I just love all this planning!!!

thanks for the tip!! going to try the wipes tonite...i've been ruining bags, and clothes for years with leaky baby oil!!!

You can get the Skin So Soft Bug Guard Towelettes from Avon or your Avon rep. They have the sunscreen and bug repellent in them. One wipe for everything. They are individually wrapped so you can carry what you need. I keep a couple in my toddler's diaper bag at all times and they are DEET-free.

It's been my experience the Brita water filters do help, but certainly don't eliminate the funky taste/smell. But I won't drink water that I can smell/taste, and for some they don't mind it (I have a water cooler at home because I refuse to drink our well water).

I second the Huggies (natural, unscented) wipes!! I'm not kidding...they got red wine out of white carpeting (it was a fresh spill). I still keep them on hand at home and my DD is 8! And for wiping sticky hands in the park, it's the next best thing to soap & water.

For eye makeup remover, Almay (the brand I use at home, in liquid) makes the remover in wipes. I can pack it without worrying about it leaking and it does the job great. Wipe and toss when done!

I know that they can be expensive, but Croc shoes are the best for us. Especially at animal kingdome for safari, they get wet, don't ruin and dry fast!!

If you bought them ahead of time, your passes. Imagine what a nightmare it would be if you forgot those.

My mom forgot hers,my brothers and his kids tickets in May. I'm glad that we were there with her. Someone on the DIS had posted about this. We went to the International gate at Epcot, spoke to the CM,called my dad to get the numbers on the backs of her tickets and voila, they were replaced. I don't recommend this though as it took about 40 minutes. It was better than no tickets at all.

If you're going during winter maybe back some cold medicine insase you feel sick. Its a lot more expensive in Florida than in Michigan, so I'm definitely packing some just in case.

When we went to Chicago last month I forgot my contact lens case, solution, and glasses. Luckily I have the kind that I can wear over night so it wasn't a problem, but will have to remember to pack them for Disney

And I second the suggestion for a sewing kit. When we went to Toronto in 2000 the zipper on my sister's suitcase broke so we couldn't shut it. We had to make the train and couldn't go get another one. My mom had insisted we pack a sewing kit and thank goodness we did. My friends and I each took a needle and worked on quickly sewing it shut. It worked. Ever since then that is a must for when I travel.

I forgot my camera's memory card! Left it in the reader at home :(

Also bring packing or duct tape - it's great for repairing broken suitcases (just take it shut!)

Don't forget the fanny packs for every member of your party. Why carry around all the kid's stuff when they can carry it themselves?
Also, if you want to chew gum, make sure you bring it with you.
