How many clocks do people have to manually set?

Only the time on the oven and the microwave need resetting in my house.

We have no other clocks other than the ones on our phones or computers.
I have 6 clocks that have to be set manually. Oven, microwave, coffee maker, large wall clock in living room, small digital alarm clock in bedroom. And of course clock in the car.

We have 2 clocks just the microwave and oven. Our microwave at some point blanked on the time and we never corrected it so it just reads zeroes. Maybe someday we'll get the time back on it lol.

There is also the car though that I need to change.

We had a decor clock from when we got married and it presently in on the wall where our dual sided gas fireplace is. The batteries eventually ran out and TBH we ended up not replacing those so it used to be functional and now it's just decorative. It's been that way for around 7 1/2 years lol. We like the look of it but I guess in the end haven't really cared if it functioned.

The only thing we have to change that isn't "smart" is the microwave clock. Kinda nuts actually.
My "be sure to change" list
microwave
stove
bedside clock (mine)
watch

My husband's list
atomic clock in living room
clock in dining room
watch

We'll catch the clocks in our vehicles next time we're in them.

One of two days each year when you realize how many things in your home tell time and need to be updated..........LOL. There are fewer daylight hours in the Fall/Winter so moving the time around isn't going to change the fact there are few daylight hours then in the Summer ! It still gets light later in the morning and earlier in the evening this time of year regardless of whether we are on Daylight "Savings" Time or not.

True but I don’t like returning home from work in the dark.

OP: Perhaps this wasn't your intention, but both your poll choices seem to indicate keeping DST but either (a) having it switch back and forth between DST and standard time or (b) just keeping DST and not switching back and forth.

My choice is to get rid of DST and just have standard time all year round.

We changed our car a few weeks ago.
It has taken me thirty minutes with the manual to work out how to change the clock!
Will I remember in six months time?

Totally forgot about my car dashboard. Got in the car late this afternoon and thought it was correct and I was late, lol.

I wish I could reset my dog - he has been looking for dinner for about 30 minutes. He clearly doesn't understand fall back.

My car clock changes itself. Microwave and oven are all I had to change manually.

Changing time doesn't bother me at all, but I wouldn't be opposed to getting rid of it. I would prefer to keep standard time if we did though. Give me more light in the mornings in the summer.

As predicted, my kids woke up at "4:30" today, which even for them is early. Just seeing the numbers is jarring. All day I felt like it was midnight. I hate the initial feeling from the change. It's psychological for me, but today it's actually physical as I got up much earlier than usual.

Let's see how Monday goes!

I flew from Philly to Arizona on Wednesday, where they keep standard time all year. Then on Saturday to California, where it was daylight time yesterday and standard time today. I’m still a little discombobulated.

I want year-round DST. I like my light in the evening.

The only clocks we had to manually change are the stove, microwave, and the cars.

Checking in to say I continue to complain today. My kids are waking up much too early before school and refuse to keep themselves occupied quietly. So, my complaint is selfish as I am now exhausted before 9am.

I'm sure it will be fine by end of week.
