We ate at the Sci Fi on June 3, 2007. The only decent thing we had there were the milkshakes. We were on the DDP so we had appetizers, entrees and dessert and none were good. Even the apple pie with vanilla ice cream we had for dessert was bad. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE.

I disagree, we eat there every year and everyone in my family enjoys it. Gourmet food? Heck no, but good enough and you can't beat the atmosphere. We love love love their onion rings in particular.

We eat at Sci-Fi every trip. I always get a cheeseburger and it has always been yummy! I had the Spinich dip and it was really good too. I have not had anything that has been bad! We are not picky eaters but I think it would be pretty hard to mess up my cheeseburger!!

We love sci fi. I wouldnt recommend using the ddp when you go there, but if you crave onion rings and a milkshake while watching old movies its the best.

Awesome BBQ chicken sandwich on the lunch menu - it's a must-do for my family!

Sorry you had a bad experience there. We have dined there twice and enjoyed it both times.

we're finally going to Sci-Fi in October... we just want to go for the atmosphere because it looks like great fun. Oh, and I want to find out for myself just how good a $10 milkshake is! :rotfl2:

we always eat at sci-fi every trip - but we get shakes, burgers and fries only - figure they can't mess that up

We love it for lunch! Burgers and shakes...YUM!!!

hands down, best burgers on property!!!! Unfortunately, they're so big I can't fit a milkshake in. DD and I split our meal last year and we still couldn't finish!!!! LOVE SCI-FI!!!!

maybe this person is angst ridden... :confused3 Or he/she is expecting gourmet at MGM?:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I've never eaten at SciFi, but I can imagine with such daring items as burgers & shakes, they aren't looking to attract the Victoria & Alberts crowd!

We ate at Sci-Fi on our last trip,it had be many years since we had eaten there.I agree they had the best burgers and onion rings.:thumbsup2

Sorry you didn't have a great meal when you were there. We are planning on going in Sept to have a burger, watch an old movie clip or two or ten and eat in a car! I can't wait!

i've eaten there twice this year. both times have had good to excellent service and the food (chicken penne pasta) was quite enjoyable.

the only thing i'm not crazy about is the repeat factor. the films just aren't as interesting when you've seen them a month before.

I agree that the food there is pretty unimpressive. BUT the milkshakes are SO good that they make up for it! I think it's the only place you can get a spiked milkshake on property. Yum!

Although the OP comes across as a bit harsh, I will agree with their assessment. We ate there several years ago....dd, then 10, and myself. We had never eaten there before, so wanted to try it out. We were seated in a car right away...we were there when they opened for lunch. Dd ordered a hot dog plate, I ordered a cheeseburger and onion rings. Well, my burger was one of the worst I have ever eaten. Dd's hot dog had a peculiar taste according to her, but we did find out that she was getting sick, so that may have played a part.
Another family was seated in our car, in the front rows. The woman seated in front of me kept swishing her very long hair all over my food. It was dark, we couldn't see anything in front of us.
Now, please understand....I went in expecting my food to be decently prepared, served in a timely fashion. I wasn't expecting haute cuisine.....just a good cheeseburger, based on what I had read here. But, I didn't get that, or good service. Of course, I may very well have just hit a bad day. Obviously that could happen to anyone, anywhere. But, we have to accept that everyone is going to have different experiences at the same restaurant. It's just not right to make someone who has had a different experience feel as is they are out of their minds since 'everyone else' had a terrific dining experience!!!
So....I don't care for Sci-Fi, and I'll go way out there folks...I don't like the CG either. But, obviously, I am in a very small minority on that one!!!
