DON'T CRY OR WE'LL RIDE DINOSAUR AGAIN! A Spring Break TR---Final Thoughts 5/5

oh how I wish to go back to EP during the Flower and Garden festival! We went on our first and only trip to Disney and I fell in love with both!

Can't wait to hear about your mission!
I've always wanted to do a KP mission,
and we're hopefully going to give it a try on our summer trip
So I'm looking forward to see how it went with ya'll

The F&G Festival is so pretty! I'm glad we were able to catch in in '08.

Poor Meggie! Sounds like she was getting a bit overwhelmed...

Kathy

Awesome F&GF pictures! I loved the fairy garden. So cute.

Can't wait to hear about your KP mission and if it was the same one we did. I guess each country has a couple different missions.

Great pics of the topiaries! The big butterfly reminds me of the one outside Beach Club.

Thanks, Denise. I'll be sure to look for that butterfly outside the BC when I'm there next month!

i totally love the Flower & Garden Festival. It's always so beautiful. I hate that they ended it early this year because I really wanted Mama to see it.
It is beautiful, Lisa. :) It did used to go through the end of May, didn't it? Now that you mentioned that, it seems like it was just ending up when we took our first visit back in 2001.

Your mama would really enjoy the F & G Festival......Maybe you need to take her back next March? ;)

It is to ward off evil spirits or frighten the enemy!

Well, that's good to know. Next time I'm feeling threatened, I'll just stick out my tongue! :thumbsup2

I love the fairy garden pics.

I can't wait to hear about the KimPossible mission. I'm thinking we might try one or two of these.
Thanks, Susan. Kim Possible is fun enough---My kids seem to get a kick out of it. :)

Not a Kim Possible mission!!!

Just kidding -- I am sure you had lots of fun with it!

Oh, yes, Jackie---LOTS of fun! If I remember correctly, my sister and I finally just collapsed and the kids woke us up when they finished! :rotfl2:

Oh wow! The F&G Festival looks amazing! I love all of the fairy topiaries

Aren't they cute, Courtney? AND, you haven't even seen the best ones yet! :)

I was just reminded that it was ending up during our first ever visit to Disney back in 2001! It is really pretty, isn't it? :)

Can't wait to hear about your mission!

Oh, Sara, you'd really enjoy the KP mission. :thumbsup2

This is only the second one we've done. The first one the kids did was last year in Japan. This one actually was in Norway. (I think I posted the wrong country in the update). I'm sure that the girls will want to do another one when we're back next month.

It is pretty to see, isn't it, Kathy? This is our second time to see it. :goodvibes

The pictures of the Fairy Garden were great. I love the colors. The flower butterfly was beautiful.
Thanks! :)

I actually posted the wrong country in the update, but have gone back to edit it now. We were told to report to Norway. We did Japan last May. :thumbsup2

Two updates to catch up on here.

MK - So sorry to hear about Meg and her disappointment with the pixie dust. We have never been over to TSI. I've always been doing something else and never got around to it. What a lovely outfit! I'll need to make sure I keep mine at home. I have it in blue.

Epcot - I love F&G Fest. I wish they would have let it go longer this year like normal. It normally goes one more weekend. We're hoping to get a KP Mission done this summer as well.

Looking forward to more.

As my sister reminded me, the meltdown wasn't actually over the pixie dust. The initial one was because her mother (my sister) wouldn't buy her something she wanted at that exact moment. The pixie dust just escalated the event! :rotfl:

I remember that it was still going on during our first visit in May of 2001.:thumbsup2

We're hoping to get a KP Mission done this summer as well.

We've only done it twice---Japan and Norway. I'm sure we'll have to do another one this May. :)

Looking forward to more.

Thanks, Megan. :)

F&G is so beautiful. Great pics! I'm kind of disappointed, like others, that it is going to be over when we get there. Last year during one of the only 1.5 hours of sun we experienced, Josie and I went to one of the kid stations and decorated some pots. Joe and Lindsey were doing a tour. We had so much fun just chilling out and coloring.

We too are disappointed that the F&G Festival is ending before we go. But I'm glad I get to see pictures of it on your TR! :thumbsup2

I'm sure Lauren would have had a meltdown about the pixie dust too. That's her way though. She's such a drama queen. I have no idea where she got that from...:rolleyes1

Can't wait to hear more about Epcot!

As we headed over to World Showcase, we saw this---

Hmmmmm, I’m wondering if Kevin could possibly prune our shrubs to look anything like this! :)

We didn’t make it very far, (I believe, Mexico) before it was decided to eat some lunch.

IMG_0635.jpg

After eating, the kids began their KP mission in Norway. My sister and I sat outside with Meg. I believe that Meg eventually went to sleep during this time. I took some pictures while we waited.

When the kids finished their KP mission, it was decided that we would ride this, since Meg was still napping.

Do you see the hidden Mickey? ;)

We finished, and walked through the countries, stopping to take some pictures of the topiaries.

It was time to stop here and see one of my favorites---the Voices of Liberty. Now, they are Kevin’s favorite ! :thumbsup2 When they walked out, I quickly called his cell, and just let him listen as they sang the first song. :)

IMG_0665.jpg

After the show, I called him back, and he said that when he first answered he wasn’t sure what it was, and then they had started singing. He put it on speakerphone, and said that he just sat there and listened! :goodvibes

We continued making our way around World Showcase.

After crossing the bridge, and passing our “private entrance” for our upcoming May trip, ;) we saw this beauty-

Then, it was on to Great Britain.

Up next---65 mph

Loved your Flower and Garden Festival pictures. Can't wait to be there in just one week!!!!!

Thanks, Jill. I'm so excited for you and your mom. Ya'll are going to have a wonderful time. :thumbsup2

I can't remember---Are you taking your girls, or are they staying home with Daddy?

Ok now I am seriously considering a trip to F&G next year. I guess I have to decide whether I'd rather see topiaries or eat food at the F&W. Wonder if I could squeeze in 2 trips in 2011? Hmmmmmm
