DON'T CRY OR WE'LL RIDE DINOSAUR AGAIN! A Spring Break TR---Final Thoughts 5/5

You had to wait for IASW??!! I guess I did see lines for that in December too, but we never ventured over there - the boys REFUSE to ride it ever again

Even in auto mode, your pictures turned out good - you'll get the hang of using that camera, it just takes time! I love the balloon shot!

That's crazy about the line at IASW! My family always makes jokes about some of the "lesser" rides and how you know it's crowded when even those rides (like IASW, TTA) have long waits.

I know what you mean, Sarah! While we were there for NYE, we saw the line for TTA curving all through the lines, and coming out into the park. I wanted to tell the people, "Hey, it's not worth it!" :sad2:

My family jokes that when it's crowded, we'll even ride/see any of that stuff, as long as we can get in/on!

Great TR so far!
Your pictures of Wishes are great! Can't wait for more. popcorn::

Thanks and :welcome: to my TR!

Thanks, Michelle. ---I was inspired by MeMom's picture of the balloons. Unfortunately, mine didn't turn out quite as well as hers. Thankfully, I get to head back to Disney in less than two months to "practice" again! ;)

What? Your boys refuse to ride IASW? Have your resorted to bribery yet? :rotfl:

To tell you the truth, their refusal doesn't bother me all that much........ :rolleyes1

When we were there in December we had just finished riding Peter Pan and I said 'oh look, there is no wait for IASW' all three of them, in unison, said NO! Justin has ridden it once and Jared twice. He rode the second time summer before last because he couldn't remember it (he was only 4 when he rode the 1st time). As soon as we got off the ride he looked at me and said 'I am NEVER doing that again'! I think Mom will ride it with me in May though :thumbsup2

Shocker hates Dinosaur, I could so use that line on him!:rotfl2:

I hate DINOSAUR! :scared1:

First off, can I just say that you two crack me up?!?! I can just imagine you two---Wigd sitting on the sofa with her laptop, and Shocker laid back in his big, leather recliner, typing away on his laptop.-------Reading each other's posts and commenting on them! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Now that I've gotten that out.............................................

Prior to this trip, I never imagined what an effective disciplinary tactic the threat of Dinosaur could be! :rolleyes1

I love Dinosaur. But it still scares the CRAP outta me. Like, big time. I know it's not real. I'm an adult for cryin' out loud. But I somehow always get seated on the edge. Always. And when that gigantic, insane dinosaur roars in my face it is not enjoyed. Still think it's a genius ride though.

:rotfl: Must be the difference between sons and daughters. Mine never fuss about it. In fact, Rachel snaps pictures like she's never seen the stuff before! :lmao:

Actually, Wigd sits on a leather sofa and I sit on a hard, wooden chair in the corner.

Me too! Not the loving part, but the scaring part!

On some other thread I was reading, a mother was asking about her 5 year old daughter riding this. She wanted to know how scary the ride was. Some guy posted about his wife riding it----Wound up she was the last ride of the day, and ended up being the ONLY PERSON riding in her vehicle. Check out this photopass pic ---

I think this is how I would look if I had to ride that all by myself! :scared1:

Subscribing - So far loving it:thumbsup2 Except that nasty Red Lobster Guy :eek:What the Hey My husband is allergic to shellfish. This would not have been a good thing - not at all

You photos are great BTW :goodvibes

wigd & shocker...too funny!! :rotfl:

Anyway, back to your TR!!! :lmao:

Soo glad you started!!

I cannot believe that guy was warming up his LEFTOVERS from RED LOBSTER & eating it for BREAKFAST!! Those words don't mesh well together!! bleh!!

I'm so glad you folks got the building you requested! That's in the Alligator Bayou?! We're staying at POR for 3 nights when we go and I requested a room in Magnolia Bend...is that a good choice? That's wonderful that your room was ready a couple mins. later!! lol!!

Can't wait to see MK!! Great pic of those balloons by the way!! Yay for HM's wait being only 10 mins. :thumbsup2 Boo for IASW being long!!

Wow! You got really great pics of Wishes. Looks like you had a great view! Yay for park hours being extended! must've been really busy! Can't wait to hear more!!

We went straight to Fantasy Land and it was a madhouse! The line for Small World was weaving all around even outside the street! We managed to see Mickey’s Philharmagic, and ride IASW, Peter Pan, and Pooh.

I'm surprised that if Small World had a long line you still were able to get on Peter Pan. That line is almost always ridiculous, except at EMH times.

That's great that they had your room ready before you headed off to the park. Much better than having to come back during park time or just start getting unloaded at night when you returned from MK.

I always love first installments of a trip, because I can sense that 'beginning of the trip' excitement. :) I aso try to think about what I was doing at the time when someone else was just starting an awesome Disney trip. I'm usually at school, but this time, for your trip start, I was hanging out with Brooklynn on spring break.

We're Dinosaur fans here. Even though that picture of the lady alone is cool, I'm not sure I'd want to ride alone. I got stuck on that ride once, and I know I wouldn't want to be sitting in there all by myself in the dark

...with dinosaurs. :upsidedow
