Not pointing fingers at anyone here, but after 15 years in the PC repair business, rarely is there such a thing as a "bad" computer. All make PC's suffer parts failures of some form or another. Most PC makers just put together parts from other makers ie hard drives from Western Digital, motherboards from Gigabyte (yes Dell, Gateway etc. all do it) so no matter who you buy from you're getting similar stuff inside (depending upon model and price, I'm not saying you'll find the same components in a $3000 Dell as a $500 E-Machine, but A $500 Dell and a $500 E-Machine might have identical components other than case). You're not going to like me for this but most computer problems I've found are user related (no, or not updates antivrus, deleting things that are needed etc..). I have an uncle who has bought every major brand name of PC's in the last 7 years and he has had no luck with any of them. I take his PC, fix it up and run it for a week with no problems, he get's it back and within 8 hours he has problems again.
