I live on the South end of Murfreesboro, Barfield to be exact. We are thinking of building a house in Christiana. I can't believe there is another Dis nut so close by. I found the Dis right after we got back in June '06. I've been addicted ever since. If I'm on the computer my DH says you looking up Disney stuff again. He's changed his tune a little now he wants to know if there are any discounts so we can go more. I think he is coming to our side!

I'm loving your pre-trip report. We are going back during Fall Break and possibly a Christmas trip. I can't wait!

I can't believe we live so close by. Christiana is such a beautiful area. We have friends that live there. DH used to work at a Farm in that area.

It does sound like your DH is coming around! Possibly TWO trips! I'm so jealous. I really would love to see all of the Christmas lights but we have this rule at work stating that we can only have 2 vacation days during the month of December. So it doesn't look like that will be possible for us.

I know what you mean. I still have to book our flights but we fly SWA so we have a month before they ding us. The past few years it's always been the first of July when they announce the "dings" for our travel week. I still look on a daily basis but to no avail.

I also have a current dillema w/ an ADR. We will only be going to Epcot 1 day. We're just not big Epcot people. But we will be going 9/7 for the EMH's and also MK will begin to get crowded for Night of Joy. Well we have a lunch ADR for LeCellier and a dinner ADR for Coral Reef. Now we won't be paying OOP on either of those so I will need to cancel one and we just wouldn't be able to eat two large meals so close together. So what do I do? I've got a poll over on the restaurant forum. But it seems LeCellier has a little better quality of food but that the atmosphere at CR is so much better. So I still have to make that decision.

I'm also on a current mission to have at least 7,000 posts by my departure date. DH says I'm an idiot and that amount of posts is nothing to be proud of. I beg to differ, it'll keep me busy while at the same time getting my Disney fix.

I was reading a pre trip where the couple is going down to WDW just the 2 of them, no kids. I was telling DH I would like for us to do this. We had planned on going before but it's never panned out. Well he told me as soon as they come out w/ the packages to go ahead and book it for the 2 of us! It will only be a trip for probably 3 nights and we'll be staying at a value but I can't wait. We'll be going down the first of February, we always go to Gatlinburg and stay in a cabin every year so we'll just go down to WDW instead! Yay

Whoohoo Go Ktink, Oh Yeah. I see the February 2008!! Your husband doesn't want to admit it but he has a bit of Disney Fever. We are just getting in from church and I haven't called yet. I had to teach Sunday School this morning which means we were there soooo early. Someone posted on the confessions thread that the bus situation is not that bad at WL but....I think I've already made up my mind, especially since we will be there over Labor Day week-end and it may be very crowded. I'm about to change...send some pixie dust my way...I must say, it is harder to change resorts than it is to talk about it. Yet ktink, you do it with such ease and grace . (Baby steps, stepdisney, baby steps......*she says to herself*

Yeah, apparently DH is becoming the little WDW fan! I told him I wanted to know for sure that I didn't want to book it and then him try to talk me into the cabin thing again. He says he is really wanting to go! Of course, I'm more than happy to oblige!

It's a small world! DH has a horseshow in a couple of weeks over in Dunlap.

It really seems like the time is flying by, I wish it were here now but I hope our time there goes by slower. Not that I want to wish it away but the summer is such a busy time for DH that it should really go by fast.

I have to blame this on carol/houston for calling me boring w/ no changes and stepdisney for reminding me how wonderful AKL is. DH and I were talking all afternoon about this trip and then the trip in February. And I said, "Do you think we should save the $$ and go back to AKL and then put the extra on the next trip?" He doesn't say anything but I know he's thinking the same thing. So I press on and I'm able to get this out of him. He suggested staying at AKL or WL this Sept then perhaps staying at the other in February.

Why can't I just pick something and be happy with it? I'm really not understanding what's going on here. I think that I would love to stay at Polynesian but then I KEEP going back to AKL. The price has a little something to do with that but it is really more than that. HELP ME!

We were not able to get AKL. I am a little disappointed but that is ok. We went with WL woods view. And we aren't going to try to get AKL. DH is encouraging me to be happy w/ what we have. You know I feel really fortunate that at this time the biggest dillema in our lives is finding the best WDW resort for our family. But there is good news in all of this and that is that we will still be at a MK resort and then DH has told me that when we go down 1/31-2/3 that we will stay at the Polynesian. Now I'm not able to book that for a couple of months yet so that is subject to change. So I'm off to try and get excited about WL since AKL is a no go.

Still waiting to hear from stepdisney, I really hope you were able to get AKL.

You're telling me! I'm just glad I'm faceless on the boards. I think the problem is that I have changed on the spur of the moment and then when DH agreed to the adults only trip. I just felt we needed to cut the cost a bit.

Once I changed the resort to WL I then had to change some of our ADRs to coincide w/ the new resort. I wish I had a penny for every time I've changed something. We'd be able to stay in a Grand Villa somewhere!

Poly is my fave too but we're not staying there. With two trips we'll have to do AKL or WL but that is still ok.

I have done exactly what I said I wouldn't do... I've called CRO three times today. I have been trying desperately to get into AKL but to no avail. I have come to the conclusion that they have black listed me.

However, the last time that I called I spoke to a wonderful CM. As she pulled up my ressie and noticed that I was staying at WL. She went on to tell me that we would LOVE WL. She went on and on about WCC and the boat ride to MK. She talked about the pool and her voice was just getting higher and higher as she was talking about WL. She even went on to say WL can be hard to get into and that she wouldn't loose the room and switch to AKL. And then she said, "Which we don't have anything available at AKL anyway."

I didn't know what to do at this point. I didn't know if I should because there were no rooms at AKL or if I should because I had the WL! This chic really had me in the moment of the magical boat ride to MK from WL. I kinda feel like "here's yur sign" Could it be that WL is our destiny? Can I or WILL I leave well enough alone?

Plus I have our little trip to begin planning. DH and I talked about that a little and I've decided not to stay at AKL next trip as I don't want to stay there without the kids. So we may go w/ a moderate as it appears they are the only resorts that you can pay for a king room. There's still plenty of time for that and when I decide I'm sticking to it. I refuse to go through this rigamore again.

I am soooo confused...I was off the boards for a few days and the plans have changed again!!! I have to get all caught up I just read the last couple of post since I am short on time but it is WL now right? Well I am sure you are going to love it there...I kept going back and forth on WL and AKL. Ok off to find out all the details of the changes.

I'd take the WL over AKL any day of the week

We've stayed at both and AKL just doesn't do much for me. Now my DS loves AKL but with your adults only trip I'd definitley take the WL over AKL
