Don'g Give Up on Hawaii II Trade

This week I called MS about a trade to Hawaii (big island) in a 2 bedroom for this July or August. The next day they called me with a match for a 2 bedroom. (There is only 1 property on big island).

Unfortunately for that particular week in the summer, air fares from the East Coast were prohibitive and I had to let the match lapse/decline.

The moral is...if you want something, go and and put in a search...you just might get lucky!

That's encouraging news on how quickly your match came through. Sorry it didn't work out for you though. Maybe next time, right?

I'm curious how many points that week was going to cost. Has the new point system for trades started yet? Guess I should know that, but I don't.

That is very encouraging David. We are on the list for the Hawaii for next summer. We asked for either the Kona (on Hawaii) or the two Marriotts (Kauai or Maui).

KCR is not a difficult trade but it is not uncommon for things to come up short notice (less than 60 days out) even at the Maui Marriott.
