I just finished booking our restaurants for our trip in January (1/17-19 @ CSR - Basic DDP and 1/19-1/22 @ GF - DxDDP), here we go:

1/19 - spending the day at MK while we switch hotels, then Narcoossee's, dinner for fireworks
1/20 - GF Cafe, breakfast; snacks for lunch; LeCellier, dinner (actually, still trying for a reservation, but I'm determined!)
1/21 - Park Fare, character breakfast; 50s diner, lunch; Tusker House, dinner
1/22 - GF Cafe, breakfast (early because MK opens early); lunch somewhere at Magic Kingdom before we leave.

We'll be at the Coronado on 1/17/-1/19 on the Basic DDP, so we're going to eat mostly at the All Star Sports Complex (we'll be there for the 3v3 soccer tournament), and we're waiting for Coronado to finalize their dining plan. I also want to eat lunch one day at Pop Century (I'm all about the fluff-nutter!)

Where do you suggest we go for lunch at MK on our last day?

Thanks everyone for the tips.

We loved the chicken and ribs combo at Cosmic Ray's. The potatoes and green beeans were great too. But that's CS. We love CRT for breakfast, don't know about dinner but then that's 2 credits. On our MK day that we ate a TS service we hoped on the monerail and ate at Kona. It was a quick trip and a good meal.

Can we use our TS credits as CS to eat at Cosmic Ray's on our last day? Or must it be a TS restaurant?

Brilliant, thank you. I figured we'd 'eat on the run' our last day at MK since our flight departs around 5:10 we'll have to leave after about a half day. Cosmic Ray's sounds perfect - yum chicken & ribs! I'm glad MK opens early that day and we got the first breakfast reservation at GF Cafe (we love us some breakfast!)

You know I was thinking too. On the second part of your trip on the deluxe plan you get the refillable mugs included. You should ask at check in if they will give it to you early. They might and they you could use it for the whole stay. I don't think that would be a problem being as it is all one stay just booked split in 2. Never know until you ask...

That's a great idea, I didn't think of that. I suppose I would ask at CSR if they would give us the mugs? Or should we hop over to GF to ask? Aren't they resort specific at that resort's QS place? Or once issued can they be used at more than one QS location?

My bad, I didn't realize you were at 2 different resorts.
Sorry...
This year's said good at any filling station, but I don't know about 2009. I guess it still doesn't hurt to ask them, if it's allowed they will let you, if not then at least you know.

I just read that the cup is only good at your resort - bummer. But we'll get by for the first two days just fine - we may stop by GF early on Monday, before actual check in, to see about getting the cup early in the day depending on the game schedule for the kids.

I hope you enjoy your trip, I am sure you will. we have only been home 12 days and I miss it so much. It truly is an amazing place...

Thanks again - I can't wait. My husband hasn't been there since 1976 and he was too short to ride Space Mountain, I promised him that would be the first ride we go on :) Last time I was there was with my family about 8 years ago, I can't wait to go back, it's my favorite vacation destination!

You mean ther other other vacation destinations???:lmao:

I love it there too. Other than weekend trips it is the only vacation DH and I have ever taken with our family. We went once and are hooked...

Take care and have fun.
