Donation Gift Ideas

Hi all,

I am donating two gifts this year to kids who are victims of domestic abuse (saying this to keep in mind for recommending gifts).

I need help with choosing what gifts to get them! I have a 12 year old boy and a 12 year old girl.

I have searched online and through convos here but need help with something more general as I do not know these kids personally and have no clue what they would like.

I'm also pretty young and have no kids and don't know anyone who has kids around this age so i'm clueless!

I'm not sure what to recommend for this age and situation but I would recommend reaching out to boys and girls club and/or a local domestic shelter to see what they recommend. My first thought is something fun and portable.

Football or team hat/jersey for boy...craft kits for girls - make a bracelet type of thing...Electronics are huge at this age but no telling what they already have in terms of a system,etc. Make your own make up or lip gloss kit for girl...
