Hello 3D's! Hope everyone is feeling fine.

My mileage for this past week is 135 miles, in 8.5 hours. One of these days I am going to begin running again, there are two dualathons coming up soon. But in the meantime I will stick with the biking.

Have a great week!

I need to report my time and miles for last week and it looks like I missed report for the week before - wow how the time flies

for the week of 9/1
13 miles and 3 hours total - I only made it out 2 times since my shins were bothering me

and for the next week
14.4 miles and 3hours 30 minutes

I have different dates then the ones listed on the spreadsheet but I have kept the same weeks (from Friday to Thursday) in my book since the beginning so I am sure it will all work out in the end.

Again GREAT job Donalds!!! :cool1:

Oh, Big Vic...I am behind!! Been travelling too much! And y'all didn't think I was going to do too much after Ironman, anyway, right? ;)

For 1st week of September:

run 1.7 miles/:20

Total: 3.0 miles/1:20 hours. ugh!

For 2nd week of September:

I am doing one more sprint tri at the end of the month...then need to get in shape for....next season! and some running!
And...need to put in more time/miles for the DDDs!

Wow, another week gone by already! I leave for WDW is less than 2 weeks, will be running in Race for the Taste....Wahoooooo!!!

My totals for week ending Sept. 18:

470 minutes 20 miles

Allow myself to introduce -- my - self.

I am Scott Williams and the Scoolover thing started in college so I have kept it as my silly screen name. Anyway, I joined the WISH team in 2006 during the summer after having started running in March of that year. My first race was RFTT in 2006 but all I had to prove I was a WISHer was my bracelet. Anyway, I have also done the Marathon in 07' and the Goofy in 08'.

Southern New Engalnd is my stomping ground and I probably run 15-20 races a year. I love races. I try to run every other day as I have an 8 day work schedule. It works out perfectly. Besides that, I weigh about 250 lbs so I figure everyother day off allows my body to rest a little more.

Here is a pic so that you can say, "hey, I know that guy! What a dope!!"

Anyway, I look forward to adding some minutes and miles.

Hey, I know that guy! What a dope!!

Okay, I know that guy from hanging out in the corral before, um, the half? the full? One of those this past January. Either way, he is *not* a dope. Unless you consider vacationing with both your ex-wife and your girlfriend dopey. :rolleyes1

Welcome to the team, Scott!

In other news, um, look at me, three weeks behind in reporting. This weekend, I will catch up. Seriously. I promise.

Hope all you scurvy bilge rats had a fine Talk Like a Pirate Day!

:welcome: Scott!!! Sorry I haven't been by sooner to welcome you to our family. For those of us that haven't met you, I know we are looking forward to getting to know you better.

Big Vic I am also sorry for being late with posting my totals for the week. I was going to do it last night but I injured my wrist pretty badly last night. I am having a lot of fun right now trying to type this with one hand. I do hope all of my teammates are doing well though.

So with all of that being said, here are my totals.

Miles - 96.25 (I know! So close to 100 miles.)
Hours - 12.25

With my injury, my lifting is going to suffer some but I will continue my cardio program. But my mileage has come down some due to doing more walking/jogging for Marathon Weekend.

Look forward to hearing from everyone soon! Have a great week!!!

Bryan

Scott, Welcome to the team. I do my first RFTT this year, so I'll think of you while I'm wogging through WDW. :goodvibes

Bryan- Hope your wrist heals quickly! pixiedust:

Hello Scott, welcome to the 3D's.

And here is my weekely mileage, 114 miles in 6:45. Was going to do a mountain bike race today, but realized I had already signed up for another bike ride, so I did that one instead. (which is not included in this mileage)

Have a great week, everyone!

Augie

Hey Scott, welcome aboard.

Well, I decided on Saturday morning to put a race into my training and I went and signed up for the Philadelphia Distance Run (this was my 15th PDR) - hey, I am going to need all the tune ups I can get for the Goofy. So if I understand the rules correctly I double the miles from the race then add my other miles to that - If I am wrong please correct me.

Weekly Running miles (with the doubling of PDR) 45 with total time of 4 hours and 3 minutes

Walk 4 miles (these lunch milers are making my day pass a lot better) in 1 hour.

Great training all,

Mike "GG" B

can someone give me a simple outline of what we are doing. I got the miles and hours thing. When does the week end? What's this about doubling race miles and anything else I need to know. Thanks

Morning Triple D's,

Welcome to the team Scott! I had a few good weeks, but I injured my leg last week and I am not sure what is wrong. I took 4 days off and went out yesterday and it was still hurting. I guess a couple more days off are in order. Hope it gets better soon as I have a 1/2 coming up Oct. 19th.

Week ending 9/18

18 miles
156 minutes

All running miles.

can someone give me a simple outline of what we are doing. I got the miles and hours thing. When does the week end? What's this about doubling race miles and anything else I need to know. Thanks

Simple outlines are not my fortay but let's see what I can do. Miles include walking, jogging, running, biking or swimming. As long as it is a physical exercise, you can count it. Hours include all of the time that you put in doing your miles plus any weight training or any other kind of physical activity. (If you go outside and cut the grass with a push mower, you can count that time.) Race miles count double so if you do a 5k race, you can count 6.3 miles. Race time does not count double. Most of us try to report our time and miles on Friday, if possible. Does that help answer any of the questions? Let me know if you have any more.

My miles and hours for this week are somewhat "bleak" for what I was hoping to be able to put up. Between taking some time off for my wrist and then work being a major hinderance this week, I was only able to workout 3 days. So here are my totals.

Miles - 81
Time - 5 hours

I am hoping that this week will be a lot better as I want to make sure that we reach and go beyond that 20,000 mile mark before the end of the year.

Let's go team!!!!:cheer2: :woohoo:

Thanks for the info. I may have to make a jump to biking to get my miles up a bit.

20.3 miles
3 hours 20 min

OK, I was so overwhelmed last week with back-to-school stuff that I missed reporting a week. So these totals are for the past 2 weeks, and include double miles for last week's Philadelphia Distance Run half! Woo hoo! There's also a tiny bit of biking mixed in (but mostly running):

Miles: 40.67
Minutes: 306.11

Great job everyone. Have a good one!

Hello 3D's, hope everyone is having a good weekend, kind of rainy in these parts, so looks like it will be mostly indoor stuff for me. But I have some remodeling work to catch up on so a bad weather break is good once in a while.

My mileage and hours this week is 155 miles biking, and 5 miles running, with a total time of 11.5 hours.

Have a good week, everyone. Hard to believe October is upon us so quickly.
