I can't wait to meet some of you!

I can't wait to meet some of you!![]()
Hi Ducks!,
I finished the Air Force half marathon this morning, it went really good. My knee is a little sore, but other than that I feel pretty good. I met Dan at the expo on Friday and saw him after the race, he had a really good time.
I managed to run it in 2:16:23, pretty happy with that for my first half. Towards the end of the run all I could think of is "I have to do this again in 2 weeks?"I'll be ready for the next one, though.
Have a good weekend everyone, Go Ducks!
Joe

Last week, on the sand course (and about 3 hours of sleep) I came in at 36:58? or so and this week I came in at about 33:34!

I'm #4101. Woohoo, we're getting so close now!
how long do running shoes last? i have a feeling i'm going to need a new pair somewhere in the middle of my training. i didn't get truly fitted for the pair i'm now wearing. they came from a big box store (i know. i know. but i didn't know any better at the time). what is the latest i should be fitted (and get a new pair) before the half?
