Just made an 8AM ADR on Aug 1st for myself, dw and dd16.
How is this ? Ive been reading that some people think it has gone downhill....
If we finish before 9am (which I hope to), will that allow us to beat some of the crowds at opening?

Thanks.

We have done this both trips we have taken and I loved it both times! The food was great and the characters came around twice while we were there. You will beat the crowds depending on where you want to go first. Dinoland was empty when we were finished with out breakfast and my little one was able to ride the flying dinosaurs a few times with no line!

I hope it's good because we are taking our 4 kids in Oct.

This October will be our 3rd time here, and WE Loved it the 1st 2 times. We do later sittings, usually after 10am and both times we got extra time with the characters.

hope you enjoy it

I hope you have better luck getting seated at your ADR time. We had a later time (10am) and waited a *long* time to be seated. They take in a few families at the same time, then you all get the same waiter (for drinks & such), so it wasn't as fast as some other character breakfasts we've attended.

That said, we thought the theme was very fun. The restaurant was packed, so we only saw the characters once and we were there, at least, an hour. The hot food buffet was decent, but the cold buffet was even better - fruit, muffins, croissants, cereals, etc.... You *will* be able to exit and go right into DinoLand or Hester & Chester area very easily. OR you can exit and get a fast pass for dinosaur, then go do something else.

I hope you have a great time. :smickey:

We always try for the earliest seating times. When we don't get them, we arrive early anyway. We are always seated before our reservation time. It is the best buffet (at least the four of us think so). We have 2 DD's 4 and 6 and everytime we have gone the characters have spent a sufficient amount of time with us. The food line looks long, in our experience has moved quickly. It is well worth the money!

I think we had 8am ressies when we went in May. We thought it was a great experience. The food was wonderful...always fresh...and the character interaction was great. Also, the servers were entertaining....beware... hahaha.

Hope you have a great time.

I went once and it was great last year. The characters came around twice and it was gret, the food was good, we got into the park early and dinoland was empty when we were done AND it was the only place that took our picture and put it on our photo pass card!!

When this May though it was great.

It has been a year come July since we went, and we thought it was great. We did just the opposite. We had a late ADR, and got to the park early when the rope drops, then hit a few rides then went to Brunch. I thought the food was really good. I was worried that being 10:15 the food would be gone :) and would not put anymore out since we were the last group in for breakfast. Not the case, there was plenty and warm. The characters didn't seemed rushed there like at CM. They even stopped by a second time, because it was kind of empty by then and we were still eating.

I was there in 2000 and had a good meal and again last Dec and I was not too happy with it. We had finished eating before the characters even came around and once there, they all stopped at the same time making it quite confusing for my daughter. It was my worst character experience and least enjoyable meal - sorry, but i would not go back.

We had a great time at our 8am ressie on April 30th - seated right on time (we were the first to check in!).

We were finished at about 8.45 and we were "held" in Dinoland until 9am, when we were allowed out to join the crowds walking behind the rope, at which time we headed for EE.

Our time waiting in Dinoland was well spent talking to a wonderful CM who had a tarantula - we saw her again later at another attraction, she was great! :thumbsup2

BTW, we had a great time at the Brekkie as well, my favourite character interaction of the whole trip was with Pluto here
