Donald's Breakfastosuarus

Last December my DW and I took our 3 1/2yo DGS for his first visit. He was having some issues with the characters but was slowly getting accustomed to them. On our last day we had breakfast at Donald's Breakfastosaurus in DAK. Donald was able to get within 2 or 3 feet of him, as was Goofy. He actually let Pluto sit next to him for a few minutes. Then Mickey came thru and somehow got turned around by a large party across the aisle from us and missed our table completely. At first I didn't plan on doing anything about it since DGS was still having some problems, but he seemed to be really upset that Mickey had not stopped. I spoke with our server who checked with the manager on duty. The manager came over to our table and escorted us to a tale near the kitchen door and asked us to wait there a few minutes. Well soon Donald, Goofy, and Pluto came out one by one and high fived our dear little Billy as they passed. With every high five his smile got bigger and bigger. Then the big cheese himself came out and sat down with us for close to 5 minutes. Billy sat on Mickey's lap and gave him a big hug when we left. Billy didn't stop smiling for hours. Thankyou to all the CM's involved in making this happened. At the time I made a note of all thier names but have since misplaced my note. The only name I remember is Dave. Thankyou all for making this such a special experience for Billy. He is still talking about it and keeps asking when we are going back. Hope to get him back there for MNSSHP this October.

How cool is that...that's awesome! We have been to the breakfast the last 3 x's we've gone to DW and had bad luck with the characters. We, go in July when it is extremely crowded so, there not able to really give the personalized service. It is just to congested! We keep going back because all in all it is really cute and there are so many different selections of food!

We go to this breakfast every year, 1st morning, to start off our trip! It's a great way to get warmed up for the trip (and we're all over 20!). My DH and I went here and told them it was our honeymoon. Our server came over and announced that it was our honeymoon to everyone in the room and made us kiss (while the whole room chanted "Kiss kiss kiss kiss!"). Mickey came over and made fun of me blushing. It was a classic moment I wish we'd had a camera for! I'm hoping they'll make a big deal about our anniversary this year as well!
