Donald's Breakfastosaurus - yay or nay?

Last year we ate at DB at 8 and were queued at park opening near EE. We were able to ride twice before the front of the park guests got there.

Thank you! Providing service goes well, I am sure we will be done in way less than an hour (just from past experiences at buffets). This really excites me as we are going to be meeting another fellow DISer at Donald's at 8 am and plan to ride EE together afterward!

We have enjoyed it several times in the past and consider it a must do when we are all together. The servers have been pleasant, the seating quick, and the food palatable. We have no complaints and the characters are a hoot!

IMO it was the worst place we've eaten at in the World. They had a good cold bar, but the hot bar was terrible. It was gravy & biscuits, bacon, etc. I'm from the south, so of course the gravy was terrible, and also the bacon was floppy.
But we had a great server and the characer interaction was good. I wouldn't was TS credit if I were on the dining plan. I would pay OOP, and go to the Crystal Palace. But that's my opinion.

We have 8 am adr's on our AK day also this year! I'm looking forward to it. We plan to go straight from the meal to Kilimanjaro Safari once they let us then work our way around the rest of the park. Dd will be thrilled to see they have Krispy Kreme donuts on the bar. This will be a short park day for us since EE and Dinosaur will both be out of the question due to dd's fear factor

We ate there Oct 06. The bufffet was good, no complaints there, but I never had such a rush with characters in any of our previous breakfast character dinings. Ever! I don't think we'll ever eat there again. They basically announced who was about to come by, to have your cameras and autograph books ready, then the characters stopped by each table only once, and very quickly. I felt like we were imposing on them to stop for a picture. The good thing, we got into the park early for rides, and didn't waste too much time at breakfast.

Bad reviews???? It is great. Really good food (not a great deal of choices, but all the important stuff there), all the great characters (Mickey, Pluto, Donald, Goofy), great atomphere, and even the help is great.
