We're trying to decide between Donald's Breakfastosaurus and Ohana's. Can you tell me which you enjoyed more and why? Thanks!

I'd say it's a toss-up. Donald's has better food and more of a selection, but the place is big and the buffet line can get long. Ohana has a limited selection since it's family style, but it's nice having the food right at your table. In terms of character interaction, I didn't find either one that great compared to others. At each of these, the characters only came by once and posed for one picture and that was about it. If good character interaction is what you're looking for, I'd try Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare instead.

We LOVED Donald's. The food was pretty good with a huge selection. I didn't think the buffet lines were too long - they went fast. The some of the characters came to our table 2x. Our waiter was great! Did some magic tricks at our table and was super friendly. We had our PS for 8 am which worked out great - no lines waiting to get into the park. Also, it was great to eat...walk outside...and start enjoying our day immediately.

We've never done Ohana breakfast.

We did it last year and will be doing it again in just 10 days! (New storm willing)

(BTW the only thing we didn't like was...some little boy dropped a serving spoon on the floor. His MOTHER (old enough to know better) picked it up and put it back in the food! This grossed DH out and he kind of told her off (in a low voice)then told the CM behind the counter. The CM took the tray of food away and replaced it. But this can happen anywhere so I don't hold it against the resteraunt.

We did Donalds a couple of years ago and thought the food was good.

As far as the character interaction it was somewhat limited. They only came by 1.

We are doing the Ohana breakfast in Dec. and are hoping for a great time.

I would say Ohana's. I did not care for the food at Donald's. The only benefit Donald's has is you can get into the park early with a PS on a non-EE day, but I'm not sure how much of an advantage that is at AK. We do that at Crystal Palace and love getting into MK early. (Also love CP's food and characters.)

we did both of these breakfasts when we were there and liked them both for different reasons...

both had excellent character interaction... the wait staff at donald's is awesome and fun... the little parade at o'hana's was a blast for the kids... food was great at both, w/more selection at donalds... also, krispy kreme donuts at donalds! good coffee at o'hana!

it's a toss-up to me... i would base it on my touring plan and which day would a character breakfast fit in and where do i plan to be that day (i.e. if MK, go to o'hana... if AK, try donalds)

hope that helps and wherever you go, i am sure you will ENJOY!

Having never been to Ohana's, I can't comment on that particular meal. However, we did Donald's in May and it was horrible. The food was terrible (some overcooked, some undercooked), the lines were long, the service stunk, and the character interaction was brisk.

We will never waste money there again.... I'd try Ohana's!!

I'll second what MarcyinPA said. Totally summed up our experience in December 03.
