Donalds Breakfastosaurus before park opening...

We have an 8:00 reservation for Donald's at AK. When we get to the park, will we know where to go for our breakfast? If there a different entrance? On that day, the park opens at 9:00. I assume we will be done eating by then. Where do we go for the rope drop? We will be going to Expedition Everest like everyone else! Maybe I'll post this on the Theme Parks board, too. Thanks!

We did the 8:00 at Donald's last year. You just go to the entrance on the far right side. I think there is a sign that shows you which one. We wanted to do the early breakfast because we had read when you finish they let you into the park. They don't do that anymore. They hold you up at the entrace to Dinoland. That's probably not a bad place to be to ride Expedition Everest (awesome ride by the way ) but we wanted to ride the Safari and we were way behind.

We did this a couple of weeks ago. We were done eating right around 9 am when the park opened. We cut to the back entrance of Dinoland and crossed over the bridge to Everest. It was a lot of fun and not to hard to find!

do you mean the entrance by the play area near beauty and the beast? I was trying to figure how we would get to everest after eating at donalds.

Make a left before Primeval Whirl. You will see the game area. Go past the games and walk out of Dinoland. Follow the pathway over the bridge and Everest is on the right side after the bridge. It is huge, you can't miss it! Have a great trip!!!

If one is driving, what time does the toll plaza open? If I had an 8:00 am ressie, would I really have to park at AKL? If so, is there a time limit on parking?

The parking lot generally opens at 8:30. Usually they are pretty strict about this as well. There have been a few reports that people were able to get in earlier but it isn't guaranteed. For seatings earlier than 8:40, it is almost required that you take a resort bus to get to the park. If you are staying off site, this means you would have to park at a resort and use their buses. Most of the resorts will let you park in their lot for 3 hours and after that they indicate they could tow your car.

Once you are at the gates of AK, it is easy to find the restaurant since there are CM's along the path making sure you don't try to go somewhere else.

When we wnet on May 6, the parking lot was open at 7:45 when we got there. You should be fine. We parked and made it to Donald's by 8am with 6 kids! Walk to the right side of the turnstiles and there will be a cm who will ask for your adr info. There are also cm's along the way to give you dirctions to Donald's incase you are unsure of where to go. Have fun!

It is definitely worth it to have an 8:00 AM ADR at Donald's if you want to ride Everest.

We have done this twice (Passholder Preview and last week) and have usually finished eating about 8:45. Rope drop at Dinoland is right at 9:00 am.

Go left at the rope drop, proceed across the bridge, and you are right at Everest. We were on the first train of the day each time. You have a 1/2 mile jump on the rest of the folks. There was a "HUGE" wall of people coming from the main entrance as we entered the line.
