Just booked an ADR for this for an 8:10 am seating - does anyone have any reviews, comments? Our friends are going - their boys are 8 and 3 and just wanted some breakfast with Mickey - thought this would be fun as we all love AK.

You get Mickey, Pluto, Goofy and our favorite Donald! I think Minnie is there too but not sure.

Average breakfast fare, nothing special but filling and tasty. grab some extra apples, bananas and oranges for snacks later in the day.

We thought it was an good value as Disney dining goes.

I really loved this meal. The setting was a lot of fun, our service was fantastic... the characters were great.

The food was buffett and only a notch above a Shoney's breakfast buffet...
but all things considered - were I going to do a breakfast again, this would be number 2 on my list. (Perceeded only by breakfast at 1900 Park Fair)

We ate there in Dec, it was very good and the characters were so cute. The only thing that bothered me was the huge crowd around the hot side food items. The rooms is divided into 2, like CP, and the same food is on both sides. The line is close to the wall so it gets to be a tight fit...the line wound around into the dining room and we were very close to the other diners.

Oh, BTW, there are 3 types of Krispie Kreme donuts, OMIGOD they were out of this world

Family of 11 loveedf it there.

Last time we went the food was good and the characters were fun, but the waiters were really raucous.

They had a squirt camera they tried to take a picture with and other gag joke props. I guess it was just the thing there, but our waitress got kind of abnoxious with it. This was some years ago, though, so things may have changed.

the servers and their gags are what this restaurant is about. the food selection is small compared to many of the meals and they seat you so that the characters can basically march in and out into the next room. it seems to be better if you're dining here later, but they definitely keep a tight leash on things.

The last time we were there the food was "just ok," but we had a totally wonderful server. He really made the experience for us. He clowned around a bit, but gave totally wonderful service--refilling drinks, making sure we found everything, etc. It really made the difference between a "just ok" character breakfast and a special one.

My family loves it, mostly because of the "gags" the servers do. The food is general buffet fare, but pretty good. I think you'll enjoy it.

Really liked this meal. The cheesy potatoes were great. My concern is what time does the park open this day? Will you be eating while the lines are getting longer? I would make sure that I am finished eating before rope drop or go at the latest breakfast seating. That's what we did 10:30. The food was still fresh and hot. They did not try to rush us out for lunch crowd. They simply divided the two different dining rooms and then closed down the other side for McDonald's while we stayed and ate and played with the waiters and characters-Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pluto

We just ate there last week and I have to say it was my least favorite meal and my youngest's favorite character is Donald. THe food was good, but we were in the little trailor-that was cute, but hard to see the characters and take pictures with them. Way to crowded. I felt the characters were very rushed to be with the kids. Unlike our other character meals they ran in and ran out. I know this sounds weird because of course we wanted autographs, but they just picked the book off the table, signed, and then stood posed ready for a picture. The kids had to move in around them. No fun interaction or silliness. Very sad for ds

Ladylee, sorry you had a not so good experience. we were there three weeks ago and we were in the same trailer and thought it was the cooler of the two dining rooms. There was plenty of room for DD5 to hug the characters. We were there for the 10:30 seating and thought it was really good. We are kind of "snooty" diners and we tend to be very critical.

We have been there a couple of times and enjoyed it each time. We went before it got too busy and had plenty of time with the characters. We also liked the food and were glad DS was able to find something that he wanted to eat as well.

My family of 5 was there in early May and really enjoyed it. The server was the best we encountered during our entire stay. The characters came to the table and interacted with the kids...especially Pluto...he's so fun! No Minnie there..just Donald, Pluto, Mickey, and Goofy. The food was good, typical breakfast buffet, but good. My DH loved the sausage gravy and the boys loved the Krispy Kremes! We had a 9:40 reservation and did wait a little while to be seated, but it was fine. We are pretty laid back so we enjoyed the atmosphere of the little tables outside. We were seated in the small "trailer" dining room which was cute. We really loved Donald's and will definitely go back!

my family's first ever WDW/disney charactor meal was here and we loved it. we sat in the trailer. oh the fun. the kids just loved it. since then we make it a part of our disney trips. we are going to miss this place when they close it in Nov 07:scared1:

Thanks so much for all of your responses - the park opens for EMH at 8 am that day, our ressie is for 8:10 am, so we look forward to eating and then catching the safari. Sounds like most everyone enjoyed it, so we'll keep the ressie and give it a try! :goodvibes

Is it possbile to get a Fastpass during the morning EMH? If so One of you could jog over and get them just before the breakfast and meet you there.

We are trying it on our next trip as well. I am glad since they are closing it down. At least we will have tried it. :thumbsup2

My DF and ate there last July. I had never met Donald (crazy, I know) and I thought I would definately get to meet him there! I was right. The charectors were great. Unfortunately, we did not get the great servers everyone talks about. Our res. were for 8:30 and we had to wait about a half hour to get in.

But it was fine, we obviously had fun. :)
