Does anyone know the earliest time you can get a PS for Donald's Breakfastasaurus. I am planning on going there during an extra magic hour morning in early July (so the park would be opening at 8:00 am).

Thanks.

I've only had PS's for when the park opened on a normal day at 9 A.M. The earliest PS I was told you could get was 8:10 A.M. However, you need to be in the line for the breakfast by 7:45 to be sure you are in the first seating. We were first in line and a family behind us had a 8:30 P.S. They got in second and were seated with the first group. The family about 6 behind them had one of the 8:10 A.M. PS's and they were not taken in until the second group. So, if you want to be in the very first group, get the earliest P.S. and also get there early so that you will be one of the first families in line.

I have a 8:10 PS & I believe that is the earliest.

Glad to wrote about being there early around 7:45 to be in the first seating. That is good to know

How do you get to the breakfast check-in by 7:45am? When we tried via driving our car, they did not let us past the parking lot gates until that time.

we have always taken disney transportation (bus) from the resort to animal kingdom...the buses usually start running about 1 hour prior to park opening so you can get to the front gate of the park and wait for a waitperson to take you back to donald's...
have fun...i can't wait to eat there in a few days!!!!

sunking...thanks for the reply. Looks like we'll have to bus it if we do the early PS at this breakfast again.

In a couple of days????:) :) I'm jealous!!!;) Not too badly, though, since we'll be back to WDW in August. Have a wonderful vacation!!!!

cavepig...I just noticed you plan to eat at Breakfastosaurus on an EMH morning for AK. Are you sure you want to spend some of that time eating breakfast? I don't believe it opens any earlier on an EMH day. If the only day you can do AK is a day with EMH, maybe it would be best for you to get the latest seating possible, so you get to do EMH and then spend the time dining when the park starts to get crowded.

If you can do the earliest seating on a nonEMH day for AK, then you really benefit. you get the character breakfast done and out of the way before the park even opens. And when it opens, you are in the Dinosaur section of the park and can take advantage of the low crowds.

HTH!

Thanks MulanMom for the advice. I think if we do the breakfast on an EMH we'll go for the later times so we don't miss out on quality ride time.

Our experience with this was:

We made the earliest seating, which was 8:10, and AK was opening at 8:00. It was not EMH, but extended hours for spring break (8-7). They had everyone line up with the mobs of people at the far left line that had PS's, and then opened all the gates all at once. This made no sense whatsoever because we were in the far left and had to go all the way to the right and cross all the people that were headed straight for the safari. Then, when you managed to fight through the crowds and get through the mobs of people, your seating was based on when you checked in. Dh and I, pushing 2 strollers, didn't get there as fast as others and had to wait about 20 minutes, when people with 8:20 and 8:30 PS's had already been seated. They weren't letting 9:00 PS's check in yet. I wouldn't even bother doing this early unless you can get in before the park opens.

I don't get it and it doesn't seem fair. Why didn't they just make the 8:30 PS for 8:10 if they are going to let them in and you have to wait. How did you know that they let later PS in before you? I can see if you didn't get there for 8:10. Don't they have a list of names and their PS times? Didn't they know that one of their 8:10 PS isn't in yet? I hope that doesn't happen to me.
