Any feedback on this breakfast? I booked it so we can get in to Animal Kingdom before opening.

Thanks,
Elizabeth

We did this breakfast a couple years ago and if you have a later breakfast you get all the characters at the end. It was my favorite character breakfast, the food was very good and the day we went the characters were very friendly! Its definately worth going to.

We did this breakfast a month ago and it has become one of our favorites. Characters were great, CM were great and the food was good as well. It is a must do again for us.

We liked it. We also booked it early, had breakfast, then started our day in the AK. The food was good, fresh...basic breakfast buffet, and the character interaction was good also.

This breakfast was our favorite as far as the food goes. We had reservations @ 8:30 and everything went smoothly. The characters were dressed really cute and they came around twice. Our all time favorite is Chef Mickey!! I like how the characters come around all the time. You get the best pics!!

We've had breakfast there several times and have enjoyed the food and character interaction every time.

My DD9 and I are big breakfast fans and we thought the selection and quality of food was great!

We were there last week for my dd's 2nd birthday. The food is good, and was nice and hot since we were there first thing in the morning, good selection of hot and cold items. Character interaction is good, not great. I was a little disappointed they didn't do anything to acknowledge dd's birthday even though it was written on the adr and she had her birthday pin on and a shirt saying "it's my 2nd birthday". Oh well, I guess you can't have everything!

Sounds like everyone else had a good time there..well here goes. We went 10/5. It was our the worst character meal we had. The place was absolutley packed and lines were long even once you got in to get your plate. Maybe it was just the time (8:30am) we were there, but they were out of bacon and sausage on both sides, and never did refill them while we were there.

On the other hand, we enjoyed 1900 PF and Ohana...

we had it at 10:40am and the characters were running 40 minutes behind, so we were well done eatting before we saw any characters and then they litterally pushed the characters on as the line outside for lunch was forming and they wanted us out of there!

the food was ok, but there were no plates/bowls at the fruit buffet
the french toast was really good, but our waitress seemed frantic, probably because they had been slammed all morning and the characters timing was all messed up, we got all the characters within a 5 minute window which was too close.

We went last fall (not this year) and we really liked it. It was the best service I had at any character meal. Our server was a hoot!

We ate there our last trip and loved it - even fussy DD's ate well! I have it booked again for this year's trip. Getting in the park early is a great advantage!

My family liked it. It seems a little more laid back than some of the other character breakfast's we've done. I recommend it.

We went on 10/6 and while the kids did enjoy, it was not the most relaxing, best experience. We had a 10:30 ADR and were not seated until almost 11. The characters started coming almost immediately. We managed to get up to the buffet (long lines and all) after one came but by the time 1/2 the family was sitting down the charecters were there again. I practially had to run and toss my plate on the table to get any pictures. When my husband went back to get more of the quiche (which he really liked) there was no more and they were beginning to break down the buffet (we had only been there maybe 25 minutes?). Anyways, my hubby who will not complain to a fly, actually found the manager and complained that he felt that we were being rushed through and trying to be shoved out the door and that the food was not being replenished (no more quiche and a few other minor things -yougurt) and he was basically getting stressed out being there-not relaxing and enjoying. The manager actually took our bill away and sent us on our way. Turned a negative into a positive for sure! I would consider going back.

Just got back from our fifth time at this breakfast. It continues to be our favorite. We have never had any complaints and always get the first seating.

We agree. We went this past May for a 8:40 adr. This is the only character meal in AK and everyone has the same idea to do this before the park opens. We really liked the food but the line to get it was about 15 minutes long, too long to wait with little ones after waiting outside to be seated also. And the characters were running behind and didn't have time to interact with you like they do at some of the others.
IMO, this breakfast is okay but there are better ones to do if this is your first character meal or your only one of the trip.

We enjoyed Donald's in April except they held us back behind a rope near the Boneyard and let a lot of the people from the front gate get to the Safari before they let us out....that was a bummer. I am not sure this is normal or the cast member manning the rope wasn't paying attention to her cue to drop it.

I made a reservation for our trip in December at 8am. When the hours came out, the park opens at 8am. The advantage of getting into the park early was lost...so we cancelled.

Just did it last week and loved it. It is a charater breakfast so it is loud and fun! Our server was soooo fuuny. Our kids loved it. If I were you - GO! Make an early ADR.

We were there on 10/5 also - our ADR was at 9 am and we got in about 5-10 minutes after that. The place had alot of people, but we were in a room off the main dining room so it didn't feel so bad - when we got up to get the food, there was plenty of everything. They must of refilled the food as soon as you guys left!! :goodvibes There really wasn't a line to get the food - the lines were much longer at the crystal palace on 10/6..

Can't wait to try this! We have a 8:10am ADR, so hopefully it's won't be too frantic yet. We're just gonna plan to be there before 8:00am, just in case lines are long.

kimisabella - great photo! Not a soul elsewhere in that photo!
