Hi,

We'll be visiting WDW next month and I was just wondering if the water was running at either Donald's Boat or Ariel's Grotto - my girls loved playing there but they've been dry our last couple of visits.

Thanks,

Jeannine

No water when we were there in May.
Previous posters have stated there was an injury of some type on Donald's Boat and the water may be permanently shut off.
Fountains are still going strong at Epcot, though...

They were both dry 3 weeks ago, and it sounds like they are going to stay that way until they make them safer. There is a giant misting machine in Tomorrowland. MGM also has some kind of cooling station as well as Epcot. The Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground at MGM also has a little bit of water that squirts out.

I know the boat has been dry for a couple of years now. But there is 2 water areas at Epcot and also one at DTD.

Thanks everyone....

We've enjoyed many of the placed you've mentioned...but we were just wishing about Ariel and Donald's

Thanks,

Jeannine

when I was there in June a CM told me (though it could just be what they are told to say) is that when they originally built Donalds Boat the pump design was faulty and they would have to rip up the base of the boat which would further require tearing down part of the boat - the pumps when left on when the attraction had no water in it - which fried the motors

so from what was said to me - they are evaluating either putting something else there or doing the full rehab on the boat...

whatever - when we were there in June the water was not on in either place
