My 2 yo is a huge Donald fan & we hate to miss him - does he hang out anywhere besides here? Or if not, can anyone recommend a good time to do this breakfast, as we have 2 little ones, & would like to time this to be able to do a few attractions at AK afterwards..also, is it an easy trip from GF? thank you :teeth:

This is a wonderful breakfast; we did Chef Mickey's this time around and the kids weren't as impressed; they said they wanted to go back to AK next time; they did have a meet and greet for Donald at Toontown in the MK; that's where DS9 got his autograph and picture. We couldn't find him anywhere else.

We have a PS for Donald's this year so I am happy to see the positive reviews (they seem so mixed). We must have lucked out because last June we had a lot of great interaction with Donald at the Chef Mickey's dinner, I guess this isn't typical though.

we love this breakfast. we have seen donald at the enterance of AK at opening and then at other times of the day. good luck in finding him! :earboy2:

Donald is usually with the group that comes on the bus at Epcot too. That's where we saw him last.

Donald's Breakfastasaurus is one of our favorite character meals. We've eaten there several times and it has always been good. It does get crowded and somewhat harried though. And we have always had to wait quite awhile past our PS time. We try to get one of the seating times for around 9-9:30, on an EE day. That way, you get into AK early, do some of the attractions, then head over to DinoLand, which opens at 9 anyway and eat a late breakfast. That has worked quite nicely for us.
We have also seen Donald at Chef Mickey's almost everytime we have gone. But, he does not make the rounds in the dining area. He stays in the waiting area.
Also have some great shots of him at Epcot when the character bus unloads, usually in WS..near Japan.

we did donalds last year....we really enjoyed it

we went on an NON-EE day and took the first seating, which was an hour before the park opened. they meet you at the front gate and walk you back to the restaurant in small groups....nice walk, quiet, no crowd in front of the tree if you want pictures....and when the park opens, you are already deep into the park

We did exactly the same thing--the way it works out is almost as good as having your own private early entry day at AK.

We also love Donalds, and it is an annual event for us.
