We went to it in July, and we're scheduled to do it again this fall. Does that give you any indication of our feelings about it???
One of the things we like about AK is the safari, and we find it's best to ride that as early as possible in the morning. The animals are more active. So on a day when there are no morning extra magic hours, we schedule an 8am ADR at Donald's Safari Breakfast, allowing us to get into the park before opening time.
We get to enjoy seeing all the characters without waiting in lines.
We enjoy decent breakfast food, with some extra special treats like wonderful bread pudding with vanilla sauce!
Then, when we're done, we exit
just before the crowds get there from rope drop... we get to be right at the rope when it's finally time to get on line at the safari... and the safari ride is quite close to Tusker House, where Donald's Safari Breakfast is.
You can read about our experience at Tusker House (and see lots of pictures) in my July Trip Report, and find details about the food in my July Dining Report... See my signature for the links.
