Donald Dollars at Downtown Disney

What's your thought? Do you think the $25 Donald Dollars given at the Disney Store this past week with purchase would be good at the Disney Stores in Downtown Disney? We're going this weekend and have a couple! Just wondered if we need to use them at our local Disney store or if we should save them for the weekend! Thanks.

They will NOT be accepted at the DTD store...so use them locally.

The stores on Disney property and TDS are different parts of the Disney Company. They each have their own marketing, promotions, etc. and these are not transferable bewteen the two sections. (I.E. the same way you can not use your Disney World hopper at DisneyLand.)

Bad analogy since you can use your WDW hopper at DL if you really wanted to.

GoldenOldie: Please tell me how (I am taking a trip the West and was told I couldn't use WDW tickets). Have extra days on DH's WDW hopper and would love to be able to trade in or use at DL!!!!!!! YIPPEE!!!!! You just saved me $$$$$$!!!!

When we made our DL trip a couple of years ago, we were told by multiple sources that WDW tickets are NOT good at DL. Period. Do you know otherwise?

My impression was also they were not interchangeable, that is why I've asked how this is done.
