Dominic Republic or ?

My girlfriend and I both want to go away for a couple of days, without husbands or kids. Must be sunny & hot!

Has anyone been to Dominic Republic, Punta Cana - if so did you like it and where did you stay.

Or does anyone have any suggestions of where we can go? Remember has be sunny & hot -

I am from the DR, (so bias) however, It is very hard to go wrong in PUNTA CANA, it is probably the best beach in the whole world. Do research in which hotel you would like to stay at and let me know so I can find out first hand info on it. I have been to Punta Cana Beach Resort, Sirennis, Bavaro Beach and Flamenco. Have been happy with most of them specially the last one. Keep in mind that they are all inclusive, so the buffets are nothing special, but the restaurants are usually pretty good.

Thanks for the info. I have heard alot of good things, not sure what hotel. We just keep throwing out different places.
