Dolphins in Depth or Discovery Cove?

My DH and I would like to do either Dolphins in Depth or DC dolphin swim but can't decide. I have searched the boards and read everyone's thoughts, and the concensus is they are both great!

I am not into snorkling or the bird aviary (but would check them both out) at DC but DH would love it. And I would be just fine on the lazy river while he was snorkling.

But, for the difference in price (two of us could do Dolphins in Depth for the price of one of us at DC) is DC really worth the extra $$? (we would also need to rent a car for the day if we do DC). Is swimming with the dolphins that much better than interacting with them?

Has anyone done both and if so, what do you think we should do?

Thanks.

Dolphins in the depth is not a dolphin swim. You are with a small group maybe 8 people and a trainer. You get to work on training commands with the dolphins. You get a backstage look at the living seas. It is very educational and you do get to pose with a dolphin. You are waist, chest deep in the water most of the time. My daughter loved it, many of the people in the group were very moved, being that close up with the dolphins. Don't know about DC. Hope that helps explain some of the special program.
