Dolphin Tours

Has anyone ever done the dolphin tour where they take you to where they are and you swim with them?

How rough was it? Some of those waves look big? I just had neck spinal surgery and have to have pretty smooth ride

I did not think it was rough at all. I get sea sick just thinking about going on a calm boat, and I was fine (took my medication!). I don't recall much in the way of waves at all. Some of what you see in the photos is the wake from the boat, but it was very smooth. If you are like us and have 6 people (so you rent out the entire charter), they can slow down to accommodate your needs and go to other areas if there are waves, etc. They were extremely accommodating with us, and we did fill up the entire charter, so we did not have to work around the wants/needs of others on the boat. Even if you don't have a party of 6, you could likely pay for 6 people and would have the entire charter to yourselves.
