1. We wanted to do a dolphin swim this summer. We are cruising 8/23 and our ports are San Juan and St. Thomas. We will then be at WDW for a week. Are there any dolphin swims at any of those places, other than Discovery Cove in Orlando? They charge well over $200 for a 1 hour experience, which includes 20 minutes actually with the dolphins. It would be for my 13 yo DD and 12 yo niece. (I would need to sit it out to be with the baby.) The admission to the park for the four of us for one day would be $625..... It includes a 7 day pass at Sea World which I have no interest in.
2. I'm trying to find the information about hotels on San Juan that sell day passes for use of their pools and beaches. Can any one help me!?!?!?!? Thanks.

Your info on Discovery Cove is not really accurate. The $229 is for the entire day, and includes lunch, parking, a family photo on arrival, etc. It is true that FL law limits you to 30 minutes in the water with the dolphins. You will spend an additional 15 minutes with a trainer before you get in the water. You will then snorkel in the "coral reef," float in the lazy river, wade with and feed stingrays, walk thru, pet, etc. birds and small animals in the aviary. All the appropriate foods are provided. It really is a much better experience than any of the dolphin things we did or looked at in any of the islands. It also includes a full week's pass to Sea World. Of course, you can do ALL of Sea WOrld in 2 days, but....you actually get 2-3 days of entertainment for the $229.

If you do not plan to do the dolphin swim, Discovery Cove is much less--like $100

My DD who was 10 at the time and My DH did Discovery Cove last year. My son was too young so I stayed back with him at the Resort and we had our own great time in the pool, etc.! My DD and DH were at discovery cove from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. It was an all day event. My DD still talks about it.....It was a life time experience. There is so much to do...... The $249 includes
Reserved dolphin-swim experience
Unlimited access to the Coral Reef
Unlimited access to the Ray Lagoon
Unlimited access to the free-flight aviary
Unlimited access to the Resort Pool and Tropical River
A freshly-prepared meal
Mask, snorkel, swim vest, towel, locker, sunscreen
All day self-parking
Admission to either SeaWorld Orlando or Busch Gardens
Tampa Bay* for seven consecutive days
A complimentary photo portrait of you and your party as you
enter Discovery Cove

I can't wait until our next trip to Orlando.....It will be yours truly and DS who will experience this whole day once in a life time experience.

To see if those ports have a Dolphin Swim check shoretrips.com. I booked my Cozumel swim through them and they offer many excursions at many ports.
