dolphin swim in the rain

We booked the dolphin swim at Blue Lagoon for this Saturday. I need to cancel by Tuesday if we don't want it. It's our 25th Anniversary and this is a big splurge for my family of 5. Shows really bad weather right now. Has anyone done it in the rain? Is it worth it to spend all that money and not get beach day too? TIA

Do not cancel, tropics have rain comes and goes and it's ok in the rain, I have done a lot.

Even beaches the rain may come, then go again. It's typical weather.

I think rain forecast at home and there are different, I recall forecasts for WDW with rain, had a 3 pm parade shower each day that's it. On my cruises in Caribbean Bahamas, I have seen rain forecast but either not had it, had a warm shower, etc, but lots of sun. Enjoy.

Thank you for all who told me not to cancel! We had terrible weather and still did the dolphin swim. Even in the rain it was the highlight of our cruise for all 5 of us!

Glad it was great!! My first thought when I saw the title (just today, so after the fact) was that unless it was lightning and/or extremely windy making the currents dangerous it would go. I mean, dolphins are aquatic, and you're in the water with them, so just rain should not affect anything.

Did you book the excursion independently or through the cruise?

We booked it through the cruise. We could have booked privately but my husband was afraid to walk around the Bahamas with our 3 girls trying to find the ferry on our own.

Very easy to get to the ferry - just take a taxi once you come through the terminal building. When you come back the ferry drops you back near the ship. We booked through Shore Trips dot com. I paid for 9 of us so it was a significant amount of savings.
