dolphin ressie ?? w/dreams unlimted

Ive decided to book dolphin for my trip w/teachers discount. I went to the s/d website and the dates were not available. When I put the dates in at the DreamsUnlimited site for s/d ressies it says available.
First: how is this possible?
Second: Ok I know DreamsUn. is a site sponser but is this a good why to go? Any input of people who used Dreams in the past would help.
I'm trying to do my vac. myself(1st time-always went thru disney) and even though these boards are great it still gets a little overwhelming at times. Thanks ahead of time.

I booked our trip this past July with Dreams Unlimited. It was a similar story. I called the Swan/Dolphin and asked if any of the discount rates were available. They told me there were NO ROOMS available at either hotel for the dates I wanted. I then went to the DU site and booked the Dolphin for those dates. We only got the teacher's rate for two of the five nights we were there. At first the teacher's rate wasn't available for any of our nights, but I kept checking and so did the DU agent. Agencies book blocks of rooms which is why they may have rooms available when a hotel says they are booked up. Our experience with DU was great. Even their "non-discounted" rate was less than the S/D rate.

Thanks for the info. I went ahead and sent in the ressie for dolphin w/dreams. All of this is just really difficult at times Im planning this vacation for my family (immediate and extended). thanks again

I'm sure you'll be happy with DU. You can also have them set up PS for you when you decide where you want to eat. It's really convenient booking with them. They will keep looking for discounted rates for your dates.
