Dolphin question

We are going to be staying at the Dolphin this weekend, Saturday is my son's birthday, is it worth mentioning to the hotel?

Absolutely! I'd go one step better and email them in advance about your son's birthday: info@swandolphin.com. They've always been very accommodating to us in how they acknowledged our special celebrations.

Thanks. I did email them and they wrote back and said they had noted it on our reservation. They then wrote a second time and said they didn't realize it was this Saturday and wanted to wish him a Happy Birthday, which I thought was really nice.
