Has anyone ever gotten a government rate for the week between Christmas and New Year's?

I just called the Dolphin and answered my own question! The standard room regular rate for the dates I was looking for (12/22-12/30) was $339. I asked about government rates and sure enough there was one available for each night of our stay! We are paying $189 a night!
