Dolphin Fountain?

Has anyone ever eaten at Dolphin Fountain? If so, what did you think? It sounds like the kind of food my trip-mate and I would like. We're staying at BCV and have Beaches and Cream planned for our trip of COURSE, but we thought we'd look around Boardwalk and S&D the first night and Dolphin Fountain sounds like a good place to have the first night dinner. Any experiences there?

Hi, WE have not been in about 2 years(that was the last time we stayed at the Dolphin) but it was excellent when we were there!! It is a little like Beaches and Cream but larger and with a more varied menu. I remember the fries being VERY GOOD! Now that you have mentioned it I will put it on my list of where to eat! We leave in 6days!! Joan

We had lunch there last year. I had a chili dog which was pretty good and dd had ice cream (she already had lunch). It's a quick bite type place, like a snack bar although it was sitdown service but you can order ice cream or to go stuff at the counter.

We love the Dolphin Fountain, and make sure to visit it several times each trip.

We have dinner here once each trip; great burgers, fries, grilled cheese, salads, chili dogs, ice cream etc. !

Also this is great place to go for ice cream later in the evening, especially when B&C is crowded. The decor is similar to B&C, but it is larger, and if you are lucky, you'll catch the waiter/waitresses doing one of their dance routines to music from the jukebox!

We've always had good meals there - quick, reasonable and very good food. I love the grilled cheese and chili dogs, good ice cream treats too!

In addition to what the others have said, I have to suggest the baked goods available at the counter. The huge, delicious oatmeal raisin cookies are a must-do for us each trip.

Great burgers!! Disappointed as never saw any entertainment by staff while there - but supposedly it happens!
