Dolphin Encounter Question

Has anyone booked this on a Wednesday thru dolphin dicovery directly? On their website they say it is not offered in Cozumel on Wednesdays. I am assuming that is because Disney books it all up. This is $40 cheaper thru them, but I am guessing I will have to book thru Disney. I really don't want to do the swim, because then we have to pay for an adult to go in with them, adding another $120.

For those that have done the encounter, is it worth it, or will my kids(10) think it is lame if they then see people doing the swim?

We booked the swim directly through them for our upcoming trip (8/16 Magic). I wanted to book the encounter for my 5 year old and husband. They told me all the encounters are reserved for the cruise ships and had to be booked through Disney or whatever cruise ship you are on.
