I heard that in Germany you can get this doll that is similar to the American Girl dolls and it is made while you wait, but I can't seem to find any info on it. Are they still doing this in Germany, if so, where in Germany? Any info would be great appreciated!!!:)
TIA

Yes, you can still have them made in Germany. They are 17 in vs 18 in AG dolls and have more of a "soft body" than the AG. They cost approx $150.00 (doll and outfit). You can often find them listed on Ebay for about 20.00. They are Engel Dolls.

They are made at "Der teddybar" shop in Epcot's Germany.

I don't know about them being available in Germany in Epcot, but the dolls are probably Gotz dolls. Gotz used to make the American Girl dolls when the company first started in the 1980s; the early AG dolls were made by Gotz in West Germany.
