Dollhouse cancelled

I just found out that 'Dollhouse' got canceled.

Booooo I say!

good thing they cancelled Sarah Connor Chronicles last season and kept Dollhouse...I really question a lot of the TV execs' decisions.

I like Dollhouse, it's not my favorite, but I don't think it's as bad as some people say. It's interesting and a fun show.

I'm a big Joss Whedon fan and he has said that once Dollhouse is cancelled he's going to focus on more web entertainment like Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along-Blog, so I'm excited to see what he's going to come out with next.

Can I just say that I'm one of those sad, pathetic souls who still holds out hope that Firefly will come back? I really think Firefly was his best work.

It's always sad when a show gets canceled that has talented people behind it, but I really think Joss is just going to move on to even better things and history has shown he'll take the same talented people with him to whatever the next project is.

I'm not too surprised that it's being cancelled though. I liked it but I was really hoping for something more Buffy/Firefly like. Dollhouse was just too serious with not a whole lot of witty banter.

We totally watch 'Castle' and love it. Nathan Fillion is the main reason we started to watch the show.

I suppose I'm also not too surprised 'Dollhouse' got canceled. Joss has horrible luck with FOX it seems.

I am looking forward to more of his webisodes and what he may put out on the motion picture screen.

Still, the show being canceled makes me sad. It may be the last time we ever see a Joss product made for TV.

Disappointed but not surprised. Fox has a history of canceling their unique shows while keeping mindless entertainment on. Family Guy did a spoof of this on one of their episodes.

I wish Joss Whedon would have the opportunity to do some more films. I keep holding out hope for a Buffy movie with the original cast.

Actually, I believe ABC is really happy with the performance of the show. It's doing pretty decent in the Monday night ratings.

You shouldn't: Neither show was capturing significant viewer attention, and Sarah Connor Chronicles was ungodly expensive to produce.

Add me to the list of sad, pathetic souls I still see the cast on other shows and call 'em by their Firefly names; Zoe's on Flash Forward, Wash was on Dollhouse (and something else, can't remember what), River was on Terminator, Jayne's on Chuck, Mal's on Castles... And isn't that what's her name there... Inara, isn't she that alien chick on V?

You want to get really meta? Every time I see the woman who plays Fiona on Flash Forward I want to shout "GO BACK TO ER, [UNPLEASANT NAME]!!!" at the screen. Why? Because (pathetically) I am unhappy about her one shot guest performance as River Song on Doctor Who.

That's sad.

I'm pretty devestated about Dollhouse too but I'm not surprised either. It is Fox after all.

WHY OH WHY can't Joss get a contract with something like the SciFi channel or something of the sort. That would be a PERFECT choice and I'm sure they wouldn't go around sticking his shows on Friday nights....
