Dollar's Fastlane Program?

Has anyone used the Dollar Fastlane program? I believe you go ahead and give your cc# and information on whether or not you want insurance, in order to save time. We loved Dollar when we used them in June, but the check in line was the longest we saw in the terminal. Do you know if they have a seperate line entrance for Fastlane members? If so, sign me up now!

Yes, from what I've read on these boards, there is a separate line for Fastlane members. That was my only reason for joining. Don't know if you get a discount, I've used codes (MCC, ENTERTAIN, FCG, MCC) for that. Entering my Fastlane number on the res didn't seem to produce any further discount.

Free to join Fastlane. Just a short application to fill out on your preferences. Then you're supposed to be able to get in a special "Fastlane" line to pick up your vehicle, instead of standing in a regular line. Just go to Dollar.com to sign up.

Not when I joined. If you do join please remember to take your FastLane card with you, they want to see it when you get the car (at least they've wanted it whenever I've used it).

Just used FastLane for my recent trip. There is a separate line at the Dollar counter for FastLane. The entire process took about 20 minutes (because my agent kept leaving me to go help a new agent with another customer) but overall seemed to be very efficient. FastLane is free, but I'm not aware of any discounts for FastLane, although you can sign up to receive a newsletter giving you the current sales.

Overall, I enjoyed my Dollar experience, got a new Dodge Intrepid (less than 1 month old). Return was a breeze.
