I just wanted to say that yesterday I found some very simple scrapbooks by Miss Elizabeth in all different colors for, of course, a dollar! I bought the one with the denim-colored cover for my daughter to make a simple scrapbook for her boyfriend of their fun at Disney/Universal Studios this past Christmas holiday, and a couple of others. One is brown that looks kind of like leather (not leather texture, just glossy paper that resembles it). I thought that one would be great for DD also. Her history teacher at school wants her to make a journal of her trip next week that she is taking to Washington D.C. to share with all the classes. There was also one that is light lavender and is trimmed in pink roses with a green edging. They all have two holes on the side and are laced with matching ribbon, but I probably will change those to posts if need be. They are 12" X 12" in size and include one page protector.

Anyway, I just wanted to post about this as I thought they might be good for a small book of scrapping.

I also saw Pentel pens at Dollar General, 2 in a package (fine or medium point) that say "acid free". Actually the Dollar Tree also had some pens in all different colors called "Galaxy Markers" by American Crafts. I bought copper, blue and green. I read the article in the Simple Scrapbooks magazine and wanted to check for myself what I could find at Dollar Tree for scrapbooking.

I find myself keeping my eyes open everywhere I go. You never know when you'll find little corner of cool stuff!

Our dollar tree has around 1/2 an isle dedicated to scrappin'. I have found some neat 3D stickers and papers there. And hey you have got to love the pricetag!!!!! Cha Ching!

Hi from Ontario. My mother inlaw gave all the girls scrapbooks for christmas. I bet that is where she got them. I will have to hit the Dollar Trees on our journey to Orlando.

Checked out my Dollar Tree this weekend. They are not as up to date as the rest of yours. They had some rubber stamps, stickers and scissors. But not much of anything else. I might have to try a bigger store.

Good morning!

I just wanted to add a few things I found on my excursion out-of-town this weekend. A couple of things at Dollar Tree, and the rest at Big Lots and Michaels. Should we start a thread and just label it "Finds at....(Big Lots, Michaels, Dollar Tree, LSS, AC Moore--wish I had one of those!, etc.)?

Anyway, at Dollar Tree I found cute 3-D Valentine's stickers which are darling and could be used for weddings, proposals, or anything else romantic--even just Valentine's pics! I'm gonna get a couple more pkgs. this weekend if any are left, but the one I did get had a long-stemmed rose tied with gold ribbon to a "box" and also a heart with roses around it. Gotta figure out how to post pics of these things! Anyway some of the others had champagne glasses, more roses, hearts, sayings,...I can't remember them all! They were not with the other scrapbook stuff, but just hanging with the rest of the school supplies. I also got a page of the Miss Elizabeth's stacking stickers that form a picture---the carousel one with little horses--I'm using for Cinderella's carousel pics at the MK. There were others that were just as cute.

At Big Lots I found Valentine's stickers and borders by Susan Branch for $1. The stickers are darling---champagne glasses, chocolate dipped strawberries, roses, other flowers--too cute! The border pkg. is red and white checks. I love the Susan Branch designs because they remind me of Mary Engelbrieght (sp?). I also found pkgs. of Easter embossed stickers by K & Co. (starting to learn my brand names :) ) and other pkgs. of vintage looking hats, purses, and perfume bottles. These were 99 cents. Also more of those "Doo-Dads" 3-D things ---one pkg. has a heart shaped pillow with "Grandma", little reading glasses, knitting yarn and needles, a hoop with cross stitch -- so cute! I also picked up the pkg. that had a marshmallow on a stick, bottle of bug spray, backpack, picture of Smokey the Bear ---these are $1 a pack--I'm using that one for our night at Fort Wilderness campfire program. I got several other kinds of these, but I hate to just drone on......

At Michaels all their die-cuts were marked down to 10 for $1, so I really loaded up on those! I don't have any of the machines to cut things with, so this was great for me. I'm still waiting to get to a scrapbook event, and didn't get to go this weekend as the registration closed and I didn't get in :sad2: , but this find helped smooth things over. I noticed that Michaels is having "Scrapbook Week" the week of March 6 - 12, and a Scrapbook Discovery Day March 5th from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell ya'll about my finds. I was really excited to get the Valentine's items, as I thought most of it would be gone by now.

Oops, forgot one more thing---at Michael's I got several little pkgs. of Toggles heart-shaped brads marked down to 14 cents (purple, silver and red), and some Valentine's cut outs and stickers for 10 cents. These were on a markdown rack.

Just wanted to share!

I found Disney Sandylion stickers at my Dollar Tree....Mickey, Minnie, Tink, Cinderella, Tigger and Pooh!! I only had so much cash so I got what I could. And when I went back later after going to the ATM they were gone

I will keep looking now!!

I was just going to post about the Sandylion stickers. They are nice, scrapbooking ones, not the kids type usually found on the sticker rack. I found them by the scrapbook stuff and got Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Tink, Cinderella, Belle and Ariel! I was way happy. They were at a brand new HUGE dollar tree we just got.
