Besides coloring books or crayons, what other souvenirs can you buy pre-trip at a discount or dollar store? I'm looking for a cheap little wallet with Belle and Sleeping Beauty on it (for me, I'll admit it!) i saw one on ebay, but I'll be going to a dollar store on Friday this week so I want to check there. The stores I'll be going to are Dollar Tree and possibly Dollar General.

My trip to WDW is not set in stone yet, but hopefully it'll be in May. I want to get a little wallet before then. ;)

Has anyone seen these at a dollar store or discount type store?

That's what I'm looking for -- just a cheap little wallet so I don't have to take my bulky nice wallet I got at TJ Maxx.

Dollar Tree and Everyday 99 cent usually has a pretty good selection. I also like the dollar spot at Target. Also suprisingly enough Michaels also had a pretty good dollar spot. I aways make a pre-trip bag for my kiddos for every trip. I usually do like a spiral, couple things of stickers, stamp pens and stamps, a wallet, coloring book, the mickey or fairy crayons. I also dont know how old your kids are but dollar tree also has really good kids workbooks. My oldest is Pre-k (5) and he just loves having new pencils and a workbook to work on. They are so excited on the plane that we do whatever it takes to contain the excitement. My only advice when dollar shop shopping is to buy it when you see it or it may not be there when you go back.

actually I don't have kids, but if I go, I would be going with my sister's family (three kids - 9, 7 and 4) and maybe I could make up a goodie bag to give them on the flight down. That is, if we get rooms or a villa and everything else booked......

I scored a bunch of glow sticks, glow necklaces and glow fairy wands from my dollar tree

Glow necklaces and bracelets from Dollar Tree were hits on our last trip, from teens to grandmas!

This place has pretty inexpensive things (not as good as $store of course), and I've ordered from them a number of times. Their customer service is quick and efficient. Goody Pak

Tinkerbell visits our room every night and leaves the kids a little gift. This tends to cut down on the "wanting" of expensive things they see throughout our stay.

I just hit Dollar Tree today and did not see any wallets but I got (all Disney) Stamps, books, puzzles, stickers, and card games. Like other posters, I got a few glow lights too.

From the Disney Store online, I got a few cups, bowls and plates from the clearance section. All in all, I spent about $60 for three kids, staying seven nights.

I recently found some Disney princess wallets at our Target dollar spot. They also had princess notebooks, stickers, etc. Good luck finding your things!

I was just at the dollar store yesterday and picked up so much Disney stuff for our upcoming trip to WDW.
We got Tinkerbell/Fairies purse, puzzles, stickers & sticker album, cards, conderella fanny pack for her, winnie the pooh ponchos, lanyards, lunch box, we got those spiral things that spin in the wind w/ Winnie The Pooh & one w/ the princesses. We also got a Minnie Mouse light up magnetic pin.
I know I got more than that but I honestly cannot remember.
I plan on doing the Tinker Bell present thing & also making up a goody bag for the very long car trip down (23 hrs)!
I also plan on picking up the glow bracelets & necklaces closer to our trip and also some bigger Disney souvenirs that I can pick up at either walmart or Target whenever I make my next trip across the border.

wow so many good ideas, thanks!

I don't even know if I'm going to get to go (deadline for booking with AAA was yesterday.......) but I may use some of these ideas to make up a goody bag for my niece and two nephews if I DO GO. My niece is at that stage where she's "beyond Disney Princesses" but loves any HSM stuff. So, I hope Dollar stores have that stuff.

But mostly I want a little wallet for myself (not taking a bulky wallet) that has Belle on it. I'll check the $ area of Target next time I'm there.

Target $ spot has some non-Disney princessy things, plus a bunch of Disney/Pixar items (Monsters Inc., Toy Story, and The Incredibles)...I am already starting my stash of "keep the kids busy items" for our long drive.

Do you mean Niagara Falls/Buffalo? That is where I live...I just post above about Disney/Pixar items, they are at Niagara Falls Target right now.

Yes I do mean Niagara Falls. Usually when we do cross border shopping we either just go to NF/Buffalo or we go down to PA.

But I am not due for another trip until late spring. Hopefully there will be lots of goodies then too!

anywhere else where I might be able to find a Disney Princess wallet? I'm not talking one that can hold a checkbook, but a bi-fold or tri-fold type one like the ones I linked to that were on eBay. I checked at a Target store earlier tonight, and I saw Toy Story and Monsters, Inc stuff, but no Disney Princess stuff. I'll stop at a dollar store on Friday along with my regular Target. I may try to stop at our local Michael's, too, if I'm out that way.

Did someone say Walmart has a $ section cause I wasn't sure where to find it when I visited one tonight after Target.
