are now on USrentacar but not dollar.co.uk yet.

They are :scared1: high - not sure what we are going to do. We are only going for 9 nights but looking at £300 plus with dollar (we like an SUV as that is what we have at home)

Budget are about £50 cheaper - can you beat the queues with them like Dollar express? we really don't want to have to wait in along line after the flight with DD.

Our price is sky high too £499 for a 7 seater minivan, last year we paid £350.
£434 with Budget who we have never used before, at the moment I am not rushing into buying car hire from anyone.

For our 12 nights at Easter 2 dr full size is £326, Budget £276 (with free upgrade)

Using netflights.com & Dollar who we always used before USrentacar, £308 less 5% cashback http://www.cashbackkings.com/netflights/bargains/m7059 brings it down to £292
With Budget and USrentacar you can preregister online, just as good as Dollar Express, if not better, you totally miss the desk and go straight to the kiosk in the carpark, keys waiting.
Downside is I have found Budget to have an older fleet, sometimes you don't get the free upgrade, we always have but only after asking.
I do prefer Dollar but if a big saving I would use Budget again,
I found some deals with Hertz I posted in another thread a few days ago, they were the cheapest.
VA are also similar just now, they have free upgrade offer on Alamo, £287 for us.

Lots to think about.

You are right there is lots to think about.

I have checked net flights and they are a little bit cheaper for a full size SUV with Dollar.

Anyone know if Alamo have a pre-registration system?

:scared1: we were £450 last year for 7 seater for 3 weeks , gold cover from Dollar/usrentacar.
Showing now as £720 :headache::confused3

As gold cover is £100 extra on all hirers think we will be going with Budget and silver cover since this is £550 :)

Alamo are only £2 cheaper.

They do but although registered there has never been a queue at Alamo's desk at MCO for me.

Used *********** once I think, then you just scan your barcode from your booking in a machine and walk out to the parking area to select a car.

The starred word is Alamo's member program linked to their self service kiosks. Not sure why it's starred.

Like I said, used it once, it too tries to sell you an upgrade, but at least it won't lie to you like rental staff!

We've been booking via usrentacar recently so not tried the kiosk for fear of them throwing a wobbler at strange reference numbers but like I said, never needed to.
