Dollar - Orlando Internationa

You do wonder how much time would be saved however if the sales patter was cut in half or knocked on the head. Even then half the time they are giving you the full sales treatment because they haven't got the car in the size you booked and have to upgrade you, if they can con you into getting some extra cash out of you then they will. Every time I've hired a car over there (and this is not just Dollar) I've always ended up with a larger car

I'm having a similar problem to a previous poster.

I'm a Dollar Express member, but there is no option on dollar.co.uk to use the express facility.

The codes available can also only be used on the dollar.com site.

Looking at the prices it seems the dollar.co.uk all inclusive (or platinum if there's more than 1 driver) is the best option, because there are no hidden extras.

How did you fellow brits use the Express line? Did you book through Dollar.com and then pay the local surcharges at the airport? I've always preferred to get a pre paid voucher, so that there is no unexpected extra costs when I arrive.

I always book with Airlinenetwork.co.uk always cheaper than direct with Dollar.co.uk
I go to Express line and hand in Airnets voucher and my Express card takes max of 5 mins, just have to print agreement then inital and sign.

You can still use Dollar Express even if you have booked your car hire with a third party. You don't need to do anything - just use the express line and then flash your card once at the desk.

ETA - posted same time as Wayne, sorry to repeat the same info! :goodvibes

That's great, I'll check the prices at airlinenetwork also.

Much appreciated,

cheers

Is this a permanant thing? we had to double take on 2nd Aug.
Where did you get them from? In the main terminal I presume.

Dont think its a permanent thing as the three handlers were sstill sat at the start of the bag drop but were waving everyone thorugh.

I assume it was a temporary thing.

We carried our bags from the first carosel all the way to the exit. Luckily they had wheels so we went up the escalators to security (but there was a lift I think also).

Was certainly much quicker but a bit of an obstacle course for people with a lot of luggage i would think.

Also I wasnt asked if I wanted to upgrade the car and cant actually remeber the last time this happened !!

Wow thats a long way, I would not have appreciated that with our 4 cases and 3 hand luggage. Thankfully never had much of a wait with 2nd pick up, by the time we get there cases are either on the carousel or out with a couple of minutes. I wonder what would have happened if you could not mannage them all? you cant leave any and re-enter there. I saw 1 couple with 6 cases on our flight they would not have had a chance.
