I was wondering if anybody has any experience renting from the Dollar rent a car that is located in the Wyndham on hotel Blvd. I booked an incredible deal on a full size car for the week of 4/23-30, $75.00 total for the week.

After the booking I looked up some reviews on Dollar because I usually rent from Alamo at the CCC, and the majority of the reviews are awful. Wondering if it's worth the $100 more to rent from a place I know and trust. (Alamo)

We are staying at SSR and like MME but still want to get a car when we get there.

What are you going to use the car for? Just getting around WDW and perhaps going off property for food? If so, just about any car you get will be fine.

What are the awful reviews about? Is it about the cars? or the service?

For $100, I can put up with a lot. ;)

If it's just obnoxious counter people trying to sell insurance just be forceful and say no. Make sure you photographs the car before and after for any, I mean any, scratches or dents. Also have the attendant sign the sheet that shows all dents/scratches when you pick up the car. Get their name.

I rented from them last April and found it super easy! They picked me up in the shuttle (I was at Pop Century). The agent declined the insurance for me, then asked (and I still said no). I had rented one size but because they have a small fleet of vehicles, I was upgraded for free. I returned the car at MCO so I can't speak to the return process. I do plan to rent from there again on future trips.

Doing a non Disney park vacation. (staying at SSR cuz it was practically free) Doing Seaworld,Legoland and Aquatica so we definitely need the vehicle. I just read some really bad reviews on YELP from atrocious customer service to vehicles not in real good shape. CCC was always a simple no for extra insurance and the return was simple and the car was practically new. Hopefully I will see a few more reviews from those who have rented there to help make up my mind.

I stayed at OKW in October, 2015 and rented from here. The pick up from the Hotel was great. When we dropped off we easily walked over to Disney Springs for the bus. (Our choice). Getting the car was pretty easy. There was some trouble with their card reader, but that could happen anywhere. We also had trouble finding the car. (The hotel was doing some remodeling so it wasn't easy for us to find.) However, we told the guy who got us the car, and he went and got it for us. It was a newer car in good shape. Returning was also easy. We returned it to where bell services told us. Checked in the car and left. No hassles at all.
