Dollar Minivan Rental -- Nov/Dec

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I just secured a minivan rental at Dollar for 11/28-12/8 for a total of $396. It broke down as follows:

- 201.99 for the week
- 3 days at 31.99
- 1 hour at 15.99

I just went in under the Specials tab and selected minivan and it came up with a code of RWUW8.

I have rented with Dollar a few times in the past, and have never had problems with them. Plus they are right in the airport and very convenient.

RWUE3. Also try this code, I got a minivan last week for $25.99 per day. I was just checking as I sometimes do and I know have a minivan for $430 for two weeks including everything.

Hi:
I tried entering both of the codes under the promo and it keeps asking for a valid code - I'm looking to rent from 10/6/05 to 10/21/05, but it keeps kicking it out with those codes.

I got kicked out with that message also, but if you go up to the right corner of your screen where it says click here for rental details and click on it, check out the rate that you're getting. Also you'll see a rate code pop-up in that detailed breakdown.

I'm thinking that these aren't really rate codes per sé, but rather the situations that mousesavers talks about sometimes where just entering info in without a rate code yields great rates.

I also think it is very time period sensitive. For instance, someone renting the middle of December or Middle of November might not get this rate.

Thanks Brian for the info. I'm going to do what you suggested. I think it may have to do with the fact that we will be there over Columbus Day weekend. I usually get great rates from Dollar so I'll keep trying.

I tried for the minivan deal and got an SUV for 6 days(Nov. 5-11) for $160! Thanks for the heads up!
