Can anybody tell me if a 'full size' car hired from Dollar at Sanford will come with a CD or a tape player.

Should come with a CD player from what I can recall. Our car in California was full size and had one back in the summer. Also so did the Intermediate car at Orlando back in 2001 but not in 2002, stange, but I think we had a brand new car in 2001 ;)

Could be either. Guaranteed if we take tapes we get CD player and vice versa. Now we put the radio on. Found some great stations 2 years ago. (we like them anyway)

Our party of nine had 2 full size cars in July last year - both brand new, one had a CD one had a tape!! Ours had the CD, and was a higher model than the other.

Some of the stations are really great! I think I found one that played constasnt 80's music last time! I love 80's music so it was way cool!!!!::yes:: :hyper: :cool2:

We've had a CD in the car the past couple of trips. Usually we'll visit Virgin at Downtown Disney to buy a CD or two early on in the holiday and then listen to them whilst driving around.

Alternatively we'll tune the radio to WMMO/98.9 which is a soft rock station with relatively little DJ chat. They webstream at www.wmmo.com and we sometimes listen at home to get into the Orlando mood :D

We had a convertable in November, upgrade as a wedding present from one of our family, it had a CD player but with all the damage "reported" stickers all over it, the car body work that is not the CD player, we agreed it looked too much like a "hire car" so asked to change. Same make but an LX model instead of the LXi no CD player, asked to change again and was given a mustang with a 6 disk CD player!!!!!
So basicaly if it don't have a CD player ask to change, they can only say no.

Just a personal opinion but I'd rather have the radio on anyway, I can listen to a CD in the car 50 weeks of the year, but for two magical weeks I like to experience all things American! And that includes their cheesy radio stations.:teeth:

we had a car from Alamo/National and you could choose which ever car you wanted from the row, so if a CD player was important you could have chosen one with one. For us the only important thing was finding one that would take Molly's carseat, it took at least 6 tries before I found a car it would fit in
