I just booked a full size car through Dollar, in Dayton, OH, for a week, picking up on July 4th. There are no coupons out yet for July, but I was juggling codes and putting my best car rental mojo to work. On a whim, I decided to take ALL the codes out of the reservation, and guess what? Not only was the rate better, but it gave me a city saver rate (double-checked, still PU/DO at the airport) that was $20 cheaper. I saved about $50 going through Dollar rather than using my BJ's codes!
Of course, I'll keep looking as the days pass, but many coupons are blacked out on Fourth of July... And I am OK with $186 for a full sized car for a week!
