We have booked a package with Virgin and have paid upfront for their platinum insurance package. Will we still need to leave a credit card imprint?

I have used dollar several times and have never been asked for a credit card imprint with full insurance.

I had to leave a cc imprint at Dollar (Sanford) and Alamo (MCO). They absolutely refused to let my SIL be the lead driver because she didn't have a cc. We were taking full insurance both times.

I know this hasn't been other peoples' experience, but it was definitely ours.

I shouldn't risk going without one, unless you check with the Dollar desk at your destination.

We've used Dollar 5 times and we were only asked once to leave a cc imprint and that was in 1999
