Dollar....bypass the line, like National?

I am sure this has been asked, and answered innumerable times here, but, with no search, I ask again.

Does Dollar, which is located by National at MCO, have anything similar where one can bypass, completely, the checkin line? I read where there is an 'Express' line, similar I guess to Alamo's QS. If the Express is the best available, anyone here have experiences as to how efficient it is?

I'd like to know how efficient the express line is too. I have a rental in May using the KISS2 rate, and I signed up for Dollar's express program.

I've used express twicw and it has been pretty good (when the regular line up was quite long,there was only 5 or 6 folk in the express line.
Its not as good as the Alamo and National set up though, where you can go directly to the booth at the garage or to the car directly.

I've used Dollar Express, and its forerunner, for several years. This is very efficient. There's a separate line for Express customers at the counter in the airport. The customer service people are quick to see Express customers and you essentially jump in front of everybody in the regular line. Show a drivers' license and verify the credit card information and you're off to the garage to pick up your car. Dollar has become my preferred rental agency in many airports including MCO.

Do you get your keys at that counter or do you need to get them across the street near the cars? TIA

Dollar's expres is pretty good. You get your keys at the gatage. The express line usually is short. I find Bidget;s fastbreak service even better. You bypass the line and go straight to the garage. I do find Dollar's rates cheaper though.

I had the best experience with Dollar Express that I have ever had with any rental car company. The paperwork was done. Sign, rip, rip. Here's your copy. Walk across the street. No hassle about insurance. Easy, stressfree!

The year before we rented from Alamo. HORRIFIC!! The hard sell insurance scam. She wouldn't give me the papers to sign unless I said I would do the insurance until I told her I have $100 deductible on my car insurance already. I met another lady in the parking lot in tears because the male rep told her if she didn't get the insurance, she couldn't have a car! Total BS! Never again Alamo. I don't need the stress.

I filled out the on-line application for DOLLAR Rent A Car's DOLLAR Express Member Services Program. An automated email response indicates my application will take 1-3 business days for processing.

The wait time does not concern me, but out of curiosity what could possibly take 1-3 business days? I was immediately approved by National when I applied for EA.

Has anyone had to wait 3 business days, and has anyone ever been denied membership?

Few weeks ago applied - got a confirming email in a day or so - have yet to get the actual card.

Called & was told we would have to stop @ counter MCO the 1st time to swipe our CC & sign agreement; but only that 1 time.

I'm a longtime happy Dollar Express member. Just want to point out the program works differently at different airports. As some, you do skip all lines and pick your car. But not at MCO. Also note that ever if there are a few people ahead of you in the DE line, the line goes super quick since they don't need to hassle the DE members.
