We prefer the Dolewhip. The float's juice was just way too strong for us! But if you like strong pineapple juice, the float should be fine for you!

I've only had the WDW version, but I love the whip there. DH loves the float, but the juice is too overbearing for me.

I agree, if you're not prepared the juice can ruin it. You really have to love Pineapple, and if you do, like myself, you'll find it amazing. But if in doubt get the whip. It should satisfy your urges.

I was not impressed with the float. As others have mentioned, the juice was not cold and just melted the Dole Whip faster. Just sticking with a dole whip!

HEY everyone, did you know you can purchase DOLE WHIP MIX to make at HOME in your ice cream makers? It might not come out *quite the same in texture but I have heard that it tastes the same, straight from the same company Disney gets it from!!!!! I have been soooooooooo tempted to buy it but then I convince myself not too because I do not want to spoil it and never really enjoy it at Disney again, know what I mean? I could get so used to having it that I would not want it at the Tiki Room!

The float is excellent but huge so if you can share it with someone, that is the best plan
